Had dinner here before Ed Sheeran concert. The restaurant was quite full and we stood in the entrance and waited for the waitresses to arrange for seats. However, the restaurant was too busy and the waitresses ignored us a few times. We waited for around 5 mins and there was only one waitress walked out the shop to give take away order. When we asked for a table, she just told us “ it’s full, you have to wait” without asking for our details for arranging table later. We got a table after waited for more than 15 -20 mins. I think they are lack of staff so there were some tables empty but had no one to clean up.

Food served quite fast and taste was actually quite good for some dishes. But the thing was every dish have the same vegetables for side. And the assorted vegetables we ordered was just exactly the same as the side of other dishes, only with bigger portion. And that dishes did not taste like thai style. And the veggies were not delicious and did not match with each other.

The Thai milk tea lack the flavour of tea and it was a bit too sweet and milky to me. Didn’t think it tasted very authentic.

Overall, the quality of food was ok but the service needed to be improved, especially under...

Very disappointing Takeaway experience for the second time now and the last. The restaurant acted in breach of Menulog conditions and cooked our order which included fried food prior to assigning a driver. This information was confirmed by menulog . As a result a our food was prepared at 6.30pm according to restaurant manager and we did not receive it until 7.20pm. The food was disgusting and was thrown into the bin!! Waste of $70!!!Contacted menulog who were very apologetic and put all the blame back to the restaurant and then attempted to offer me a credit voucher for my time wasted!! What an absolute joke and if this is how menulog and Thai Palate run their businesses , well good for them but now both have lost our business. We will spend our money and support other local businesses who appreciate our support! Thai Palate - Disgraceful 0/10 Menulog - Appalling 0/10

Ps. To the manager at Thai Palate!! If you think it’s quite ok to eat food including fried spring rolls that has been sitting around for 50mins well you really shouldn’t be in the food industry. You’re...

After checking the online rating and reading a few reviews I decided to order from here the other night.

I ordered a Pad Thai (chicken) and Massaman Curry, along with a side of Curry Puffs. One review mentioned their Pad Thai was really nice so I was looking forward to it. I'm quite picky and don't really eat many of the other dishes, and mostly get Pad Thai whenever I eat Thai food.

The food arrived nice and hot. I plated the Pad Thai and started eating. For me, I really enjoy the flavour and sweetness of the tamarind sauce that goes with Pad Thai. This one was pretty bland to be honest. I couldn't really taste much at all. Everything looked OK, it was just missing that nice flavour that I've come to expect from this dish. There is no way I would order Pad Thai again from here.

The next day I heated up the Massaman Curry, which I had previously placed in the fridge. This was absolutely delicious! I enjoyed every bite. I would definitely...

Went out for lunch with my dad and carer. Decided to go here as it was close to where we were walking around. They had gluten free options so being coeliac i asked them if they could cater for me and said that they would clean down the woks/pans. I ordered the beef yellow curry, my dad ordered chicken pad thai and his carer ordered the pineapple fried rice. I must say it took less than 10 mins to come out and looked amazing and tasted delicious. I would of liked just a little bit more potato in mine but that is nit picking. Would definitely recommend this place to coeliacs as they can accommodate to your needs. A great little restaurant.

After getting their food via Uber on several occasions, this is the first time I ate in. Decided to have a very light quick dinner before moving onto my next commitment. I had the Tom Ka soup (coconut and lime juice and mushrooms with chicken) along with money bags. The soup was tasty although not memorable. Money bags are one of my tests for a Thai style restaurant. These money bags were a little bland for my liking although crisp. The service was friendly however it took them quite some time to take my order at a time when there were only a few tables occupied. Knowing their food on previous occasions was good I will still return.

Came across this place as I was staying nearby and once I saw it decided Thai was on the menu tonight. Was met with very friendly staff as soon as I walked in. It wasn't overly busy inside so service was fairly quick. I went for vegetarian spring rolls for an entree which I've had before but decided to try something different for the main which was Gai Yang and side order of rice. All the food was delicious and there was hardly a morsel left. With a beer added it came to around $35 which I felt was great value considering how full I felt. If you're in the area stop by a meal with great taste and value.
