Updated review:

I originally gave this shop a 3-star review due to a disappointing experience. When I entered, I was ignored by the staff and received poor customer service. The barista and waitress were unwelcoming, preoccupied with their phones, and dismissive when I asked about a lost item. It was frustrating, especially as a regular customer.

However, I’m updating my review to 5 stars because of ‘ANANTA’. He has consistently delivered excellent service—friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and always ready with great suggestions. His positive attitude and attention to customers never disappoint. The food is always delicious, and I continue to support this local business thanks to Ananta’s outstanding service.

Additionally, the shop offers a spacious and welcoming environment, perfect for gatherings with friends and family. It's always clean and tidy, adding to the overall positive experience.

Thank you, Ahmad, for your swift reply to my concerns. I appreciate your transparency and commitment to addressing the issue. I’ll definitely be back, and I look forward to the continued great service!

—————————————————————- I’ve been a regular customer of this shop lately, primarily because I love the pizza from this shop and also want to support local businesses—. However, my recent experience on Tuesday, December 10th, was very disappointing.

I went in not only for pizza again but also to inquire about a lost item. Unfortunately, I was completely ignored by the staff. The barista and an Asian waitress showed no acknowledgment when I entered, no greetings, and when I asked the waitress for assistance with my lost item, I was met with poor customer service. She was preoccupied with her phone, lacked eye contact, and showed an indifferent, almost dismissive attitude. It was frustrating and unexpected, especially as a regular customer.

The gentleman who serves me at night is always friendly and efficient, which is why I’m giving this review 3 stars. However, this kind of behaviour from the daytime staff is disappointing, and I’m hesitant to return when local shops are not friendly towards their...

Very disappointing to find that the past couple of times I have been here have received quite bad service. The first few times I visited, the man and the lady that served us were super friendly and we loved coming here. Food was amazing with good portion sizes too. Love that breakfast is served until sometime in the arvo, esp for our day-offs. We've even brought a couple of friends that were visiting interstate here before, and we all really enjoyed the experience. If I had left a review here a few months ago, it would have been a five star review.

However, the past two times we have been here, we've had this awful service from the same lady. She seems to be in a bad mood from the get-go, and seem like every question I asked was a bother. I opted for the eggs benny with extra mushrooms and croissant. Both times these two have been forgotten, and then I'm told that the croissant is sold out. Both times I asked am I to get my money back for the extra I paid, and both times she said she "will go and check". Both times, she did not check and never got back to us. It's not so much the $2-3, its more her attitude that really puts us off. She kept giving us side-eye, and glaring at us as if we did something wrong by just eating the food we paid for.

Really disappointing that service has gone so bad, and we will have to find a different place to...

Iv ordered take away from this place 4 times and each time iv been disappointed. The last order I got the meat manoosh bread was burnt and had a horrible taste , you could tell that they don’t use the freshest ingredients. I also order the vegetarian pizza and there was a lack of flavour and hardly any cheese. Iv given this place 4 chances so that will be the last time I place an order here. Hopefully this review will encourage the owner to have a closer look into the quality and fix what could be a very good pizza place. Good luck

Hi Ahmed . I can not reply to your review and I just tried to call the number and you we’re not available .

I can tell you that I order on 1 January, 20 may and 3 July 2022. I order a few pizza each time and the peri peri chicken that I ordered on 20 may was nice thats why I thought I’d give you guys another try. The meat manoosh and the vegetarian pizza I order yesterday lacked flavour and the meat manoosh was soggy and very doughy. I don’t usually leave feed back like this but as a new business I know how important customer feed back can be. A few little tweaks and I’m sure you...

The last slice... ever from this store. A super long wait for a very soggy undercooked manoush. It's so soggy I had to take it back home and put it back in the oven. Comparable to a soggy weetbix. Because they got our order wrong, I wonder if they gave us a soggy manoush on purpose. In the end I threw it out as I'm worried this manoush has been tampered with. Hopefully we won't get sick from the few bites we had. Also, management please tell your staff (in the kitchen ) to wear face masks. This staff member was also poking food with his bare hands and then proceeding to eat it whilst the poor front staff member was managing all other sales. Update: (as per management request) I honestly don't have anything positive to add... I hope my experience was a once off negative just by poor luck. The store wasn't busy, there were two people waiting for their orders before us and the back staff had time to chat and eat so there is no excuse. Both my partner and I had indigestion after the few bites we had. Again, I stand by the fact that the manoush we had was tampered with as there is no way a manoush should EVER be that soggy.

What I miss most about being in Lebanon, is waking up every morning for breakfast. We'd either walk over and pick up the manoosh ourselves or it would be brought over by our family. Whilst I don't have the mountain views here, I felt a similar experience just by the taste of breakfast here. We ordered a lot and we ordered GOOD! We were able to get into the kitchen and watch them prepare our order, we had a few good cheese pulls and it all tasted so fresh and so delicious. Now I may be biased, but you can't beat a Lebanese breakfast and this was just beautiful. The bases were perfect, toppings were generous and they offer a great range of serving sizes too. This is what we had: Zaatar & Cheese Explosion, Zaatar, Labna & Veggies, Zaatar Manoush, Cheese Halloumi Manoush, Cheese, Tomato & Olives Manoush, Meat Manoush, The Last Slice Pizza, Cheese & Spinach Pide, Cheese & Mushroom Pide, Cheese & Garlic Kaak and the Zaatar Kaak. Aaaaaand yes, dessert. Some of the best baklava I've had! The syrup would drip down as we bit into it which I loved, because nothing is worse than a dry baklava.
