Read moreBroadway has changed a lot over the last 20 years. Its a fresh and exciting mall that has risen to the challenge of its location and the constraints of its architecture. Somehow they make this place hum 365 days a year early morning until midnight! Parking is excellent. Circulation through the malls is pretty good considering the unusual shape of the building. I like that it is a compact mall and generally has what I need including post office and banks and 3 supermarket offers to suit the more budget conscious and the customers wanting primo produce at Harris Farm. The massive coles has to be the most lively and well stocked that Ive experienced . The specialty retail offer and fresh food are good but could possibly improve with a bit more variety. I feel like having 2 discount dept stores plus a reject shop is a bit much. Kmart is fun to visit but I feel like Target doesnt excite. What does excite is the fast/youth fashion, food and entertainment precinct on the upper floors, accessed directly from an ample number of adjacent car spots and connected via speed ramp from Bay St. Grab an easy car spot, a bite at Nandos, win a prize for the kids at the games parlor then a well earned breather in one of Hoyts' comfortable cinemas. Hit EB Games on the way back to the car to keep the kids happy and that's a great day out all under one roof. The doctors surgery and pathology closed down but they are now located right across the road so that isn't a problem since you can park at the mall and just walk across. Thanks to people who spent so much time and effort planning and refining the mall for the public and a huge pat on the back for the team behind the scenes in the day to day keeping it safe, clean and easy to...
Read moreGreat relatively large shopping centre with a broad selection of shops, a very decent food court (with great gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options!) and a cinema! ACCESSIBILITY: Wheelchair friendly throughout with cafes having room for Peele to easily wheel up to them with a pram, walker, wheelchair. PARKING: Although free for a few hours (+more of you get your ticket validated when you see a movie), can take a while to get on very busy days, e.g. Saturday... Put simply you have to be willing to drive further up the building levels. SHOPS: Really good selection, think Priceline, Pharmacy, ALDI, Harris Farm, Target, Kmart, Honey Birdette, Lego, HOYTS Cinema, Apple store, Kookai, MAC etc. LAYOUT: While I can get overwhelmed at some of the giant Westfield's that have multiple entrances/side wings, this shopping centre is far more Neurodiverse friendly with ample room on the top floor to sit in a quiet space is overwhelmed. Additioally, unlike some badly set up stores people have to avoid like Sephora due to their extreme lighting, the centre is rather light friendly. There's also a cute playground next to Priceline, along with a straight forward easy to follow layout throughout. FOOD: Grill'd (with ample gluten free options), Indian, Italian, Japanese, fast food, Boost Juice and hopefully more actual gluten free cafe options, currently these are limited. OVERALL: Would recommend and parking next to the Harris Farm Markets downstairs for all organic, environmental groceries etc names this easily convenient to keep...
