THANKING The security Staff Matt & Farah, for being such wonderful humans & a big thank you to Matt... A few days back I had attended briadway shopping centre & had off course accidentally dropped my wallet & "clearly" it had even found by such an honest Human & returned within 48 hrs to "security centre management"... & even to the degree of actually heading to the commonwealth bank & tracking my identity from it "The right way"= to have the bank to confirm that security had my wallet & it had been found by a gud Samaritan of a human... Thanking Mark from the bank & Matt from the security for being just x2 wonderful humans for "making my day & returning it to me in my own hands"... even from meeting me at our meeting up spot to give it to me in person...🫶👌🙏🙈 Thanking you Matt & thanks for being such a wonderful human & even reassuring me "Everything was still in it" & it was all in 1 piece x Ur wonderful & hoping staff "know that they have a very dedicated & switched on guard who is clearly knows what he is doing x Best wishes to you Matt & thanking you so much 🙏😉

It's a mall, near the city. And it's improved a lot over the years! Now boasting a remodeled food court, clean toilets, a kid's area, a few upscale-ish shops, and all the basics like a Kmart and Coles. Plenty of cafes to sit and have a drink and the mall is easily accessible. It's on Broadway (which turns into George St) and intersects with City Rd/King St from Newtown. Take a bus or Wentworth Park stop on L1 light rail. If you're driving, there's lots of parking. 2 hours is free, 2-3 is $10 (which feels steep for someone just doing some shopping and grabbing dinner from the food court), and goodness help you if you stay 3-4 hours, that's $20. The other shopping centers in the city (Galleries, QVB, Westfield) are more upscale and aren't the kind of place you can grab some Lego, new pants and bread rolls all in one go. That's the gem of Broadway, even though it has a reputation for being a bit daggy.

Good and convenient shopping. My wife and I visited a few times as we needed to buy things to help our daughter settle in to her accommodation. A vast array of discount shops such as KMart and The Reject Shop are great for those looking for bargain buys. There are some top-end stores as well. In addition the Aldi and Coles are packed. Good Priceline outlet as well with excellent products and pricing. We also enjoyed the food court. The Zeus Street Greek food, the Grilld burger place and the Killiney Kopitiam. The sandwich, wrap and soup place- forget its name - has some great takeaways, too. Our favourite was the Three Bean cafe where we had one of the best Flat Whites in Sydney.

The shops are great, but the centre management needs to seriously look at how the toilets are maintained. I used the facilities on two different levels and both times the floors were littered with toilet paper confetti. I wondered why someone would do this, until I realised that the toilet paper they supply is 1-ply (if that)… and so, when people tried pulling for another sheet it would just disintegrate into confetti all over the floor. Buying cheap, toilet paper not only makes a huge mess, but it also reflects poorly on the shopping centre. That’s what you call false economy.
