Checked out this new Korean buffet after hearing it recently opened, and I was curious how it would stack up against staples like Butchers Buffet. First off, the location is a huge plus—especially for those of us living in the eastern suburbs. It’s a lot more convenient than trekking to the city or out west. The variety here is impressive. They offer the usual cuts like oyster blade, pork belly, and LA ribs, but also had lamb and prawns—which you don’t always see at these places. The tray food selection is broader than most, with a solid range of Korean dishes like fried rice, black bean noodles, and several styles of fried chicken. Best part? They have a ramen bar—super fun touch, just be careful not to fill up on it too early. In terms of quality, the meats were great—fresh, well-cut, and very tasty. The tray food was decent, but not amazing. We came during lunch and noticed that the hot dishes had been sitting out for a while, likely because it was quiet. That meant some items went cold and stale pretty quickly once plated, which was a bit disappointing. Price-wise, it’s slightly cheaper than some competitors, though the $12 bump on Fri–Sun lunch is a bit steep considering the lower turnover and lukewarm tray food. That said, service was friendly and attentive, and the place has a lot of potential. All in all, a good first visit. With a few tweaks—like rotating the tray food more often and maybe offering student discounts—it could definitely become a go-to spot.

First time dining at this Korean bbq Been waiting for it to open and looking forward to trying the Korean food. We walked to the front desk and was taken to the table, went up and started looking at the different meats I was really looking forward to the Wagyu as I have seen on their instagram videos but didn’t see any Wagyu which was disappointing Tried all the other meats and once cooked had one piece of meat and couldn’t eat it. There was no flavour even after adding salt and pepper on the meats. Vegetables were nice. The noodle salad just really taste like crab meat and was enjoyable at all. The spicy crab look delicious but the heat of the spicy was next level hot đŸ„” The crispy chicken was pretty nice and the hot chips and the fish ice cream were the only things that were nice. We were not even sure if all the staff went home as they didn’t engage at all The wooden cutlery is ridiculous as it’s a restaurant not a food court No bathrooms was unbelievable and couldn’t even wash your hands if you needed Sitting time was 90 mins we didn’t even stay for the whole 90 mins. No point as there was nothing there really to even to go back up and get more of Tables are so small and crammed For the price you pay and receive that quality of meat is seriously devastating as trying a lot of different Korean bbq restaurants this would be the worst one and would recommend or even bother returning

📍 Chefs Buffet, Broadway ✹ Easy to find — just step out of Broadway Shopping Centre and it’s right on the side, glowing with neon lights 💡. đŸ„© The meats, veggies, and sides were all super fresh! My highlight? Cooking tender, melt-in-your-mouth beef on the BBQ and dipping it into their samjang mayo sauce đŸ€€đŸ”„. đŸ‘©â€đŸł Staff were friendly, but service at the front was a little slow. Tip: đŸ“Č book ahead or use the iPad at the entrance for instant check-in. đŸč Drinks are simple to order — scan the QR code at your table or pop over to the bar for soju, beer, and more. đŸ”„ Definitely recommend dining in for the full cook-your-own-food experience. Oh, and the ice cream freezer? Unlimited for dine-in 🍩 (takeaway is just $2). 🍰 Dessert lovers, you’ll be in heaven — fresh fruits 🍓, cakes 🍰, lollies 🍭, and my fave: Melona (green ice block) 💚, a total gamechanger! They also have Samanco fish-shaped waffle ice creams in matcha đŸ” and red bean ❀. đŸ’« Loved the cosy vibe and how spotless the place was — so refreshing compared to some KBBQs I’ve been to 😅. đŸš« Only downside? No toilets inside — you’ll need to head upstairs to the shopping centre đŸš¶â€â™€ïž. ⭐ Overall: 10/10 — would definitely come back! #Sydney #Australia #KBBQ #Foodie #MeatLovers #DessertHeaven #KoreanBBQ #FamilyEats #Broadway #SydneyEats #Korean

đŸ”„ Ultimate BBQ Experience – A Must-Try Feast! đŸ”„

Just came back from an unforgettable BBQ adventure with my friends, and wow—this place is next-level!

The moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff were incredibly friendly, always nearby with helpful suggestions and ready to assist without ever feeling intrusive. You could tell they truly cared about making our experience amazing.

Now let’s talk food—where do I even begin? The variety was insane. From sizzling cuts of premium meats to a fully-loaded hot food bar, a crispy fried section, endless tasty side dishes, and a dessert corner that could tempt anyone
there was something for everyone. Every bite was bursting with flavor, cooked to perfection, and unbelievably fresh. You can tell they don’t cut corners—everything is done with care and packed with taste.

And here’s the cherry on top: a DIY ramyeon station! Yes, build-your-own ramen! It was such a fun and cozy touch, especially if you’re a noodle lover like me. Slurping a hot, customized bowl of ramyeon between BBQ rounds? Pure happiness.

Whether you’re a meat lover, a side dish sampler, or someone with a sweet tooth—this place has everything you crave, and more. It’s perfect for group dinners, celebrations, or just a treat-yourself kind of day.

Hands down, one of the best BBQ spots I’ve been to. Every detail was on point—flavor, service, variety, and vibe. You won’t just eat here—you’ll feast. Don’t walk
run to this place. Your taste buds...
