Dreamtime Girl Charters Pty Ltd — Attraction in Sydney

We booked the Dreamtime Girl for our corporate Christmas party and this was as far away from the "dream" trip as it could possibly be. Andries, the captain of the boat, is a living example of people who should never work in the service industry. He was rude, unprofessional and abusive, shouting and threatening me and my colleagues. He did not communicate throughout the trip, nearly leaving our colleague who swam to the beach nearby as a result. We had no idea we were leaving the anchored point as he never informed us, so Andries said I had 5 minutes to get my colleague. Once we got back (it took less than 5 minutes), Andries exploded and started shouting, swearing and threatening me personally "to take this further", implying physical abuse, while I stood there in shock, asking him to stop. He only stopped when my male colleagues intervened. A you can see from my review history, I rarely write negative reviews, but this time is an exception as I would hate for anyone to have an experience like this. We called and emailed Boat Hire Sydney (the agency through which we booked the boat) after the trip to raise this issue, but never heard back. Embarking on a cruise with Dreamtime Girl in Sydney Harbour was an unforgettable experience that exceeded all our expectations. The beauty of the harbour, with its iconic skyline and sparkling waters, served as the perfect backdrop for our adventure.

What made our experience truly special was the array of activities available. Swimming, enjoying the sites and Playing on the slide was an absolute blast, bringing out the child in all of us and adding an extra layer of fun to our day.

Additionally, the food provided was nothing short of spectacular – a delicious array of choices that catered to all tastes, leaving us more than satisfied.

Captain Andries, our skipper, was the icing on the cake. His knowledge of the harbour and its history enriched our journey, making it not just a cruise but a learning experience as well. His expertise and warm hospitality ensured that our time on the water was safe, enjoyable, and memorable.
