Heffron Pedal Park — Attraction in Sydney

This is a great place to bring young children and beginner bike riders, scooter riders or roller bladers. We have been bringing our kids here since it opened. Plenty of placers to site or lay out a blanket for a picnic. Well used by locals. There is also a playground near by. A bicycle track runs right past the park and goes all around Heffron Park giving easy access for all locals to get to the pedal park. This place is such a good idea. It's a pedal park with signs and traffic lights mimicking real road rules, where the kids can have fun and learn road safety. It's fenced, and quite a large space where the kids can go on their bikes or scooters for a good amount of time. Pets not allowed inside. The bike/pedestrian direction pictures need to be re-done. Also, there are no pictures where the Des Renford carpark meets the path. Dangerous walking - too many dogs off-leash and/or unsupervised. Shame on the offending owners. Some are vicious. I'm physically unable to get out of the way and I shouldn't have to do so. It's not an off-leash park!!! Maybe some signs would help. I've never seen any rangers...
