Cozy Corner — Restaurant in Sydney

Usually love this cafe and never had a bad experience before today. The waitress informed us that the table we were sitting at was reserved but said we could sit there because the reservation wasn't until 12pm and we would be finished way before then. She took our order. Then a staff member came over and rudely said "You realise this is a reserved table right" and held the sign up to us as if we were incompetent. She then told us that she didn't know when the party would come in but they sometimes come in around 11:30am. We told her that we wouldn't mind moving but that the waitress said we could sit there and had already taken our order with no issue to which she basically started arguing with us. We ended up moving and left at 11:28am (more than half an hour before the table needed to be reserved). I ordered the Big Breakfast from Cozy Corner and was not disappointed. The portion size was generous and absolutely worth it—creamy mushrooms, two crispy hash browns, a generous serving of bacon, and three flavorful sausages. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection, with runny yolks just the way they should be.
