I am extremely upset with the same employee at this shop that the last review mentioned, I went into the shop with my 5 and 10 yr old grandchildren and my grandson accidentally dropped his water bottle on the floor. The employee came over and told my grandson to apologise which we both did and I told him it was an accident but the guy kept saying that he should have been more careful and he now has to mop it up. I then said that oh well it will give you something to do as I was getting quite annoyed about the way he was talking to my grandson. He then proceeded to start abusing me in a very aggressive manner and told me to get out of the shop. I am disgusted by his attitude and the whole behaviour of one of your employees. I work in a service industry and this is the worst customer service that I have ever come across and this guy is the store manager ! Read moreMy daughter, with an obvious cognitive disability, visited EB Games Hornsby and traded in a Nintendo Switch which was not hers. It is painfully obvious that she has a disability and red flags should have been raised. Instead, ths store traded a near new machine in for an outrageous sum of just $122! I contacted them within two hours to dispute this transaction, and despite them still having the goods, they would not return them, even though I had the receipts proving my ownership. They said I could only get the device back by lodging as a stolen item at Hornsby Police. My daughter was is an extremely distressed state and with her disability was fearful of going to the police. I again visited the store to plead my case with no luck - apparently their policy does not allow for return of goods to rightful owner - even with proof of ownership. Not good enough EB Games and I will be taking this mater further....

Gave my name as person of interest, told that when info was available, I would be contacted. Never contacted. Staff member blamed Sony and co-vid for not making enough world wide. Wasn't able to explain why many customers weren't contacted. Blamed head office. After hearing this, knew it was waste of time to complain.
