Renee wasn’t just a host — she was a sorceress, a cheese whisperer, a culinary poet whose every word sprinkled magic (and laughter) across the room. Her passion was so contagious that I’m honestly considering giving up my day job to devote my life to cheese, all thanks to her.
Every second was pure joy. Every curd formation felt like a small miracle. Every joke she cracked was brie-lliant. She made us feel like absolute rockstars even when we accidentally over-salted our mozzarella (which, under Renee’s gentle guidance, somehow turned out delicious anyway — she’s that good).
By the end of the session, we weren’t just students — we were a family, united by lactose and love. I can safely say that this wasn’t just a class. It was a life-altering spiritual experience, and Renee was the radiant, cheese-scented sun around which we all orbited.

We literally left having made a number of fresh cheeses, tasting them and feeling totally confident in being able to make more at home ourselves. Marly's classes are just perfect. She really does fulfill on her intention - to provide people confidence by the time they leave the class to make these cheeses and see how easy it really is. The cheese kit we purchased for $54.95 after the class was the best investment too. We have been making cheese ever since and can't go back to store bought ones - our favourites and regularly made cheeses are chèvre, ricotta and haloumi. Our friends and family are blown away by another amazing thing we make from scratch for them to enjoy when they come to our house. I booked the 'Bubbles, burratta and bocconcini' class for my friends birthday and we loved every minute of it! It was very well organised and Sigrid was the best host! She explained everything so clearly and with such enthusiasm, so we were eager to get going. The team were also very attentive in keeping us topped up with bubbles throughout so we never had to ask for more. During the practical part the team were really supportive and helpful- even if your cheese making skills weren't up to scratch, it was still a super fun experience. There is an option to order a cheese board to snack on during the class so we got one to share between two (they also had gf crackers- bonus!). Whilst you could also BYO snacks, the cheese board was absolutely delicious and I would get it again.
