As we men get older, it gets harder and harder for our partners to buy us unique gifts. My wife, I would have to say has brought me another absolute cracker; a day driving supercars with Prancing Horse. My previous mind-blowing treat for a previous birthday was a flight in a fighter jet, however I would have to say that driving 4 of the world’s leading supercars in the Adelaide Hills may have just surpassed that thrill.

Prancing Horse started at the prestigious Lofty House, where I was introduced to Matt, Jessie and Erik (their personal professional photographer). After a little caffeine we did a lucky dip for whom would take which of the cars first, I happened to start in the Lamborghini Huracan, a dark grey beast that looks more like a 21st century fighter plane than a regular conveyance. The cockpit of this missile, like the other 3 cars, have plenty of unusual and exciting appointments which Matt and Jessie gladly run over to ensure you can really get the idea of how these cars operate. Once seated and belted in I hit the start button and this weapon roared into life.

The two-way radio comes to life as Jessie takes to the station telling our little motorcade to ease out of the Lofty House carpark. Leading the start was Matt & Jessie in the Lotus, Dean & Annalee in the Ferrari, followed by our car, then Erik and Ben taking up the rear in the McLaren. The plan was for everyone to change cars throughout the day plus of course change drivers so that everyone got a chance to try all the cars. In fact, my wife Sharon said openly “No you drive it all honey, it’s your day”. I said “ok”, that was about to change. Matt & Jessie hit the main hills road and we were off, and quickly. I don’t think I hit 3rd gear on the paddle of this insane Italian slayer before I loudly yelled to Sharon “You MUST drive this car, it is incredible”. I found it hard to verbalise my words as I had a smile like that of the joker.

The smile got wider, the turns got quicker my heart stayed up there with the Tachometer as I raced this machine in and through these beautiful hills. Oh boy the fun, was electrifying. I think when we made our first initial stop I must have looked like a clown as I was smiling that hard. Matt goes “Oh we live off the smiles”. Funny as all the drivers were doing the same, grinning and laughing like banshees. A quick driver swap with Sharon and no sooner had she put her toe towards the firewall on the fire breathing masterpiece she yelled out “Oh wow I want one”. She too had been bitten by this cheeky Italian beast. I watched as she started to smile and glow as she tapped through the gears, apexing into corners, pressing on the gas and racing toward another chicane.

The lunch bell rang as we again needed food and water like cowboys on an old western cattle drive. Lane Vineyard was the call and in we rolled, up a conifer lined driveway, and there she sat a stunning restaurant which was set for our arrival complete with charming staff and an ala carte menu that did not disappoint. Breads, entrees, mains, and deserts all on offer, and simply delicious; all part of the Prancing Horse package.

I could go on and write a short story book about this day, it was mind blowing. I have told EVERYONE that if they have just the slightest pension for cars, speed, exhilaration, or something just bloody awesome then get onto one of these driving days. I cannot talk highly enough of Matt, Jessie and Erik, just lovely people and they have this operation down to a fine art. 8 hours, yes 8 hours of absolute white knuckle driving through the Adelaide Hills in some of the finest cars money can buy is simply breath taking. I think we travelled over 200 kilometres, rarely meeting the same road, it was all different and stunning. I left that day totally sated, my thirst had been well and truly quenched. Could they have done any more? No. Could you surpass the experience? Doubt it. Prancing Horse and their Team 10/10. We will return for sure; it was that...

As a car enthusiast who was considering the purchase of a supercar, the Supercar Drive Day from Kiama to the Southern Highlands and Kangaroo Valley proved to be a transformative and enlightening experience that exceeded all expectations!

Before this extraordinary adventure, my decision to invest in a supercar was a mix of excitement and uncertainty. However, from the moment I stepped into the driver's seat of the brand new Ferrari F8 Tributo and the Lamborghini Huracán EVO, any lingering doubts were immediately dispelled.

Having the opportunity to drive these dream machines on the most exhilarating roads imaginable gave me an unparalleled understanding of their performance capabilities. The sheer power, precision, and elegance of these supercars left me in awe, and I found myself falling head over heels for each one of them.

Throughout the day, the event's organization and support were second to none. The dedicated lead vehicle with private instruction via two-way UHF radio communication not only ensured a smooth and enjoyable drive but also provided valuable insights into handling these high-performance cars.

The scenic route through the Southern Highlands and Kangaroo Valley showcased the full potential of these supercars, and it also gave me a newfound appreciation for the art of driving. I experienced a level of connection with these machines that I had never imagined before, and it solidified my passion for supercars.

Moreover, the exceptional customer service, including morning tea, lunch, and refreshments, made the entire experience even more memorable. The absence of dining and fuel expenses allowed me to focus solely on the drive, further deepening my connection with the cars.

Additionally, the comprehensive vehicle insurance without requiring a security deposit or bond demonstrated the organizers' commitment to their guests' peace of mind. It was evident that they genuinely cared about creating an exceptional and worry-free experience for everyone involved.

In conclusion, I am immensely grateful to the team behind the Supercar Drive Day for providing me with a once-in-a-lifetime experience that not only fulfilled my dreams but also played a significant role in my decision to purchase a supercar. This adventure has ignited a lifelong passion for these incredible machines, and I cannot thank the organizers enough for making this day so special.

If you're considering a supercar purchase or simply looking for an unforgettable thrill, do not miss the chance to participate in this remarkable event. The Supercar Drive Day is an absolute game-changer, and I can confidently say that it will leave you with unforgettable memories and an unwavering love for these iconic supercars. Don't hesitate—book it now and prepare to have your...

From the moment we arrived, Matt and Prancing Horses delivered an unforgettable day of thrills and luxury. FYI: 3 days later and we are still smiling!!!

As part of a unique experience, we both got the opportunity to drive a selection of five stunning supercars: a Lamborghini, Ferrari, Audi R8, Lotus, and Corvette. The excitement of switching between these amazing cars added an exhilarating variety to the experience.

The day began with a warm welcome and a thorough briefing on the cars and the itinerary. Matt and Erik were very professional and enthusiastic, ensuring everyone felt comfortable and excited.

Driving each car was a surreal experience. The Ferrari hybrid, with its roaring engine, sleek design and smooth ride, was my personal favorite. The power and handling were unmatched, providing an adrenaline rush that is hard to describe. Though each car had its own distinct personality, offering a variety of driving experiences that kept the day fresh and exhilarating.

The scenic route chosen by Prancing Horses was perfect for showcasing the capabilities of these incredible cars. Winding mountain roads to open highways, every km was a joy.

Lunch at Husk was a gourmet affair, a beautiful location that added to the overall sense of indulgence. The attention to detail in every aspect of the day was evident, from the impeccable service to the high standards of the cars themselves.

Prancing Horses truly exceeded our expectations. The chance to drive such a variety of supercars in one day is a rare opportunity, and the way it was executed made it even more special. For any car enthusiast, this experience is a must. It’s not just about driving fast cars; it’s about the entire journey, the camaraderie with other couples, and the memories that will last a lifetime.

We would highly recommend Matt and Prancing Horses to anyone looking to make their supercar dreams come true. It’s an experience I will never forget. We are already earmarking this experience at another...
