I had a very unpleasant experience at the top Ryde store today, when I entered the store, I greeted the staff pleasantly and they barely even looked at me. I had a lot of bags in my hands and when the staff member handed me my tea it slipped out of my hands and dropped to the floor. I immediately and profusely apologised, but neither staff member even looked at me. This behaviour of ignoring myself and what had happened went on for some time before I repeatedly had to say “Sorry” to catch their attention. I thought perhaps they would offer to make me a new drink but both staff members continued to act as though I wasn’t there. I then asked for another drink which I payed for.
I tried to apologise twice more and again didn’t even receive eye contact or any acknowledgment of my presence.
I had asked for a bag which they forgot to add onto the cost of my replacement drink, and when I asked for the bag, once again no words spoken to me, the staff walked back to the till and I realised they forgot to charge to 10c and wanted me to pay. At this point there was another customer in the store at the till, neither staff member let the customer know they were just finishing off a charge they forgot on my order. I explained to the new customer what they were doing with the till as neither staff member mentioned what was happening and the new customer was clearly confused.

Read moreThe young girl that served me today was hands down the most incompetent customer service staff I’ve ever met. She charged me $6.20 (plus surcharge) for a drink + takeaway bag that should have been $6.10. But whatever, just 10c. I didn’t bother saying anything. She forgot to give me the takeaway bag that I paid for. I ordered a drink with half sugar and extra ice. But she didn’t put any sugar in there. When I returned with my drink and asked her for another one, she asked me if she could take my drink and put it in the bin. I agreed. But in the end, she was so lazy, instead of making me a new drink, she just added the sugar in my original drink which she told me she would put in the bin. I returned and asked her to make me a new one. At first she refused and gave me an attitude about it, but finally relented and made me a new drink. The new drink she made me had half sugar, but forgot to give me extra ice.
At this point, I just gave up. I didn’t bother going back there again. I don’t think I’ve ever had someone so incompetent serving me, period. Definitely won’t be returning...
Read morei went to share tea because i was too lazy to go to cha time and i was served by a short asian woman with light brown, almost orange hair: firstly she messed up my toppings and served me cows milk which i asked and paid for soy. i knew because it did not taste like soy milk and i ended up having stomach cramps and the you know what for 3 days. in addition, their hygiene is horrible: when i recieved my drink it was overflowing therefore the cup was all sticky and they did not bother to clean it up as well as well as seeing a couple small cockroaches running around near the seating area ,and seeing the workers pick out the remaining ice with their bare hands(usually employees wear gloves for hygiene and safety). would rate it negative 2 stars if possible+ the drinks are watered down and taste...
