Tong Li Supermarket Hurstville Westfield — Attraction in Sydney

They have a great variety of Asian foods and goods, mostly for the Chinese palate. The layout of the store could be better as it seems so cluttered and you waste a lot of time looking for stuff. It is typical of many Asian grocery stores where it offers a huge variety at the cost of tidiness.

At the time of visit, Saturday afternoon, it seems that the stock fillers have stopped work and left a plethora of boxed stock and flattened cardboard boxes in almost all the aisles. This adds to the congestion and cluttered store. Lots of hazards for customers to risk injuries, including an open ladder near the freezer section!! (check out posted photo).

If you are shopping with your family, just have a designated person go inside to shop to avoid the congestion and possible injury.

Otherwise a good store to get your goods to make yummy...

I went to the Tong Li supermarket at Hurstville on 22/07/2020.

The staff were not very good in service, unfriendly to the customer and upset to the people if they inquired something.

Also, I was requested to get refund for the musty taste corn flour. The cashier who was very angry and screaming on me, and said that you should come to the front to ask me to refund, why you are walking into the office. Upset and glared on me!

Very unpleasant shopping experience. I am very depressed for their customer service.

I hope that the Tong Li supermarket can improve their service and shows the staff how to do the customer service...
