Donât Go!
Iâve been a loyal customer of this coffee shop for a long time, visiting daily as an employee at the shopping center. The staff (especially the female baristas) have always been lovelyâthey even offered to let me use coffee stamp card to earn free drinks over time, though I never insisted on it. In fact, when I was once told I had a free drink, I politely declined and paid as usual.
However, my experience on the 21st was unacceptable. A male staff member (possibly the owner?) acted rudely when I mentioned my employee discountâas I always do. The moment he saw me looking for the stamp card, he gave me a disgusted look and abruptly told me I couldnât use it, accusing me of "double-dipping" on discounts.
Let me be clear:
His coworkers were the ones who suggested the stamp card in the first place. If there was a policy change, a simple, polite explanation wouldâve been fine. Instead, he treated me like I was cheating the system. The irony? I never even cared about the free drinksâI just enjoyed the friendly service. Thatâs why I recommended this place to so many people (who paid full price, by the way). But after this incident, Iâm done. Westfield has plenty of better coffee options, and I wonât tolerate being treated with such disrespect.
If you dislike rude surprises, skip this placeâtheyâre not special enough to justify...
Read moreThis cafe discriminates against people with mental impairments/disabilities, many of whom are very finicky with their food and and will often only eat a very limited range of foods. Upon attending this venue, I discretely advised the waitress that my mother suffers from dementia and that the only thing she would order from the menu was the kids nuggets and chips. She advised that we could not order this and I asked if due to my mother's impairment, if she could ask someone in charge if an exception could be made. The waitress returned, advising that we could not order from the children's menu, regardless of my mother's disability. I was forced to leave the cafe and felt very discriminated against on my mother's behalf. I'm still considering whether to report this venue to Anti-Discrimination NSW.
I demand a very public apology, and the entire staff and owners to undergo competency training to understand their impact on people with disabilities. This is very disrespectful during this age of equality and understanding, to have such a negative behaviour towards the elderly with a debilitating disease.
Please don't take your ill parents to this venue, or even...

I really wanted to like this place. The setting is beautiful and cozy, and I genuinely enjoyed sitting there and chatting with friends after eating. But sadly, the food and drinks were a big letdown. Truffle Feta Egg Toast â The egg itself was nice, but the toast was far too soggy and the overall flavour was bland. Definitely didnât live up to the name or price. Iced Cheesy Matcha â This was a mess. The cheesy foam was dripping outside the glass, which made the cup sticky and really unpleasant to hold. Serving it like this is not acceptable. Big Breakfast â Nothing technically wrong, but the taste was very average. Coffee â Just okay. Not memorable in any way.
I want to point out that the photo I took was already halfway through. A full portion would have more food than what is in the photo. Overall, size is not bad.
Overall, I left feeling really disappointed. Itâs a lovely place to sit, but I wouldnât come back for the food or drinks. I hope they improve because the venue has a lot...
