As a loyal customer I‘ve been through the worst service experience today. Around 1:30pm, I took my hungry baby to buy sushi at your store. I have grabbed an inside out sushi box and waiting for someone to help me getting the inari sushi. Both two female staffs are busy to serving the others just walked in and ignored me over and over. I was watching them served around four or five people behind me. Then I asked the girl wearing an orange suit why no one comes to serve me. She said that I have to wait in another line. But they served others just walked in instead of staying in that line. The attitude was be like I don’t deserve to serve. It supposed to be a different line when you buy box or inari. I use to grab box and inari then paid them all together straight away. If you tell me I have to wait in another sushi roll’s’ line, why no one told me before when I was doing that. Then your two staffs in black suits tried to convince me that it was all my fault. I am on my own with a baby. I have no way but to leave. Terrible manner! Terrible service! Read moreI’m a regular customer at Hurstville sushi hub westfield due to being the nearest location to my home. However, when I bought 2 sushi rolls and had it I had food poisoning reactions at night. Therefore, I decided to give feedback to Sushi hub directly, they were apologetic and sent me a 20$ voucher which I thought they had excellent customer service. More than month later, I decided to use the voucher today 19/8/2024 at the same branch in Hurstville. However, all the staff were giving me dirty looks and said the purchase has to be more than 20$ so I bought more item but they said to pay in cash, I said I don’t have cash with me and politely asked if I could pay in card. However, the staff kept talking to other staff in Chinese and was very rude to me saying okay fine. I had to beg for a bag and they were mad at me for some reason. I had to feel guilty because I was buying items with voucher. They really should consider training their staff well. I should not have to be treated like this as a customer. Last thursday, i purchased a sushimi salmon box ( to try from this place) which was mildy warm but hey me being the idiot i was i decided to eat it. (Let me just add that honestly this was all I ate prior to this) Around 5-6 hours later, i began to get stomach cramps and began vommiting. The next day I went to the doctor to be informed by no suprise that I have food poisoning.
I would just like to say that the standards at to which the SEAFOOD is managed in this shop is appauling considering that they are obviously dealing with SEAFOOD, let alone people are paying money for their food mainly consisting of SEAFOOD. Would not recommend this shop as there is Hero Sushi about half a minute walk away that has a much better quality of sushi and most importantly SEAFOOD, that is kept in the conditions that do not prompt the multiplication of microorganisms.
