PLEASE DON’T FALL INTO THIS TRAP. This is the reason I write this to warn all other people. I went to Warringah Mall for The Batman movie. It was a delightful experience until I was told that there is no validation for my parking ticket. I was shocked because I normally go to Macquarie shopping center which will give you one extra hour if you watch a movie or go to the ice rink for ice skating. Even Chatswood shopping centers and Top Ryde City Shopping Center and other big malls will do the same. That is why I didn’t check before I go. The batman movie is 2hour and 56minuts. I really rushed to my car and drove to the exit. It cost me 5dollars for over a couple of minutes. You may say 5bucks is nothing. But if you can pay less why pay more. I am not rich. Plus, during this difficult time, everything gets much more expensive. I prefer this 5bucks to buy some vegetables for dinner instead of paying this unfair parking fee. The movie finished around 6 pm. I planned to buy a meal and did grocery shopping and went home. Of course, the plan is ruined so is my mood. After ar 3 hours of the movie, I was starving and I need to go to the other shopping center to buy food. (I definitely won’t let Warringah mall earn my money through this doggy way.) I can’t believe as big as Warringa Mall need to apply this method to squeeze people’s hard earn money during this hard time. Come on, we just experienced pandemics. I read some reviews. People said if you ask, the stuff may open for you. Why do we prefer to press the button and ask/beg if other shopping centers just kindly give you one more hour to enjoy?! I will never ever go to...
Read moreThis small Cafe on the outer ring of the mall is unfortunately a good place to avoid. Despite promises of the best chocolate cake, the cake itself was fairly average. Relevantly it was also not 'cake' in the truest sense, more of a slice with meringue. We tried the cake and as part of our usual review, tried the bacon and egg roll and coffee meal deal. Despite the slightly below average price of the bacon and egg roll, it was a well below average product. The roll was not a roll, more of flatbread, along with minimal bacon, an overcooked egg and only a dash of sauce (we asked for sauce so it's not an assumed inclusion). It really was plain. The coffee while not offensive was unfortunately watered down based on size. The venue seems to add more milk to make a coffee large rather than adding the additional shot of coffee.
Verdict: there's plenty of other places in the area, and we recommend them instead. Side note: staff were friendly but unfortunately those on the day appeared inexperienced and ordering and delivery of food took...
Read moreFirst time I have visited Westfield Warringah Mall shopping centre after hearing quite a buzz about it being established as a fashion destination. It's true there is a variety of fashion to choose from, mainly run of the mill chain stores and the major department stores. There is a pretty cool chill out area with swimming pool-esque fountains and beach chairs to relax on, big sun beds and childrens play areas. The layout is so disappointing though, I found it difficult to navigate to through the centre and there seemed to be so many sections and hidden areas where smaller outlets were operating which is something a shopper would probably get used to over time but to the average sometime visitor it's just a maze & it induces panic when u can't find your way out and onto the main road. I'm surprised that more wasn't done to maintain consistency across centres but I'm afraid I'll only visit again with the aid of a detailed map or at least a gps map to guide me to the outlets I need, otherwise this would be too much...
