Warwick Twin Cinema — Attraction in Warwick

We came for a morning session (first for the day) on a weekday so we ended up having the cinema to ourselves. I found the cinema to be dirty. I found it necessary to use disinfectant wipes to clean the armrests/cup holders.  They were brown afterwards. There was an old layer of dust covering the walls and speakers, a massive cobweb hanging from the roof and the seats were covered in food and people's hair.  This wasn't just from a previous session or two ago, this was old. There was popcorn littering the entranceway to the cinemas. There was only one staff member working who was responsible for selling tickets, selling food and I assume running the projectors and cleaning the cinema by herself. She was extremely friendly and accommodating but I personally feel one staff member to run a cinema is not enough.  Fair enough if funds are not available to upgrade the seating (other reviews have covered that) but maybe employ another local young person to help out and ensure that regular cleaning is taking place.  Then maybe a deep clean every few months to combat the odd odour and keep...

My Partner and I really enjoyed our trip to the cinema this past weekend, we haven’t been to a cinema like it before. The owner was lovely, extra points for picking up on our Scottish accents and the movie quality was equal to that of any large cinema chain.

It definitely had an old school feel to it but that is not a negative, it has character and we actually thought that added more to the experience. The tickets were very affordable and whilst we didn’t buy snacks, they were definitely cinema priced snacks - again this is to be expected they have to make their money and it’s a trip out so nothing to complain about!

All in all couldn’t...

Opening night of a movie and they over sold the seats! Male owner spend 30 minutes of the movie trying to reshuffle people to try and make room while talking loudly. This was followed by bringing in seats from elsewhere!?. So we missed 30 minutes of the movie. We didn't pay to see you play musical chairs nor yell at people..... we paid to see the movie. Never again, rather drive to Toowoomba which is a real shame.

Maybe take down the cash only sign by the front door if you now offer eftpos, we're in the...
