Can be much more better. Visited FRida & freD on Weekday with School Children. Children took part in Upcycling Workshop. For me Workshop = what is the Purpose of this Workshop, what are we going to do today and why are we going to do it. Basic explaination of these 3 (basic) Questions was missing. There is a big Workshop Space who's Purpose is to make 'best out of waste Products'. Workshop Space is well equiped you name the Equipment/Instrument they have it to make 'best out of waste Products' but how to/clarification/instructions were totally missing. For first 15-20 Minutes children were roaming around just to figure out what to do. Displayed Samples/Ideas/Prototypes of 'best out of waste Products' can be improved/ can be really much more better. The Waste Products e.g. Balls, Old clothes, Yogurt Cups, Wool, Plastic Bottles, Books, Cans, Boxes etc. didnt look like WASTE Products, there were almost new/unused. Real experience in my Opinion is to let children handle little rusty WASTE Products (clean them first) and then let them have experience making something useful/little better Display Piece/Toy out of them. Since Children took much time here they were not able to watch-listen informative AVs related to this Topic. So I guess Children didnt understand 'What is the Purpose of this workshop'. I am sure Teacher will explain it to them back in School but this was expected to happen in Museum...

What was shocking to us was all the staff was just standing around chatting. None of the employees explained the arts and crafts stations, they were all standing in a semi circle and chatting and did not acknowledge visitors. Another employee was sitting in a corner on her phone scrolling. Definitely won’t be...
Read moreWe really liked this place, we visited just the half for smaller kids, there was also upstairs for bigger ones. But even then we spent there half a day, one of the best attractions was actually outside, where those water fountains were installed and kids could push the button and turn the wheels to let the water flow. Then inside is big soft slipway, on which they can compete and roll with each other. Also those other attractions were...
