We would say this place is a clear tourist trap. But let's go step by step. We had no reservation, but were lucky as they had a table for us, apparently the last one. They seated us at the very end of the restaurant and several tables in front actually stayed empty the whole evening. The food we ordered was definitely delicious. But let's come to the minuses. There is no menu for drinks, so you cannot know what they have and how much everything costs. We ordered some juice and got half a liter glasses, as apparently they had nothing else, which is a bit of a shame. One of us ordered sausages and the waitress brought a basket of bread declaring it was for the sausages. Once again, no information about the pricing. The cherry on top was that they charged us for every single piece of bread in the basket one by one (about 1eur per piece) and we actually didn't even order it. When we brought it up, our waitress got a bit annoyed, which is also a no go. You cannot just bring things without info of the costs and without us even requesting it. All in all, we had nice food, but we definitely didn't enjoy the visit here as it costed us a lot more than we had expected. She also refused to give us an itemised receipt, only handed out the receipt for the successful card payment which is also not okay. So be...

Read moreDo not recommend the place, some waiters are super rude and food is average, every other Gasthaus in Graz has the same food or better, but cheaper.
(Speaking from a Dad perspective) Don't plan to go with your kids if your kid doesn't eat fried things (because it's logical to not stuff your kid everytime you go to a Gasthaus, with fried os super heavy duty food) because if you order something outside the menu like, something a bit more toned down and healthy, the waiters literally will just shortcircuit in front of you and the answer you'll get is an arrogant "sorry that isn't on the menu". Like you don't already know that.
I guess it's speaks for itself for the structured Austrians that can't just walk outside the mold for a minute. The place needs a more "warm welcoming" staff.
Not a very nice experience on my book, but everyone could experience...
