Westgipfelbahn — Attraction in Saalbach-Hinterglemm

The ride with the A3+A4 Westgipfelbahn takes about 12 minutes all the way to the top station. The view at 2010 metres is breathtaking. If you're too overwhelmed, you can enjoy icecream or something else at the restaurant situated there, before starting a hiking route or a bicycle ride. The end station is very close to another end station, the A1+A2 Schattberg X-press (it's within your view and the hike there takes about 40 minutes) - from there you can descend to Saalbach, very close to the strand-city pool. The west gipfel bahn is one of the best gondolas in Hinterglemm area. It is really long and because it has a mid station you can stay higher on the mountain. Because sometimes it is just bad weather in the valley and than you just stay up.
