Silk Cotton Villas — Attraction in New Providence

Did not give 5 stars because the host was never reachable. I called Kent and left a message as soon as I got to the airport to let him know that I arrive. I never got a call back. Got to the #4 villa to see carpet was stain all over the stairs and throughout the upstairs level. I also realized there was no phone there.. So it was difficult trying to order food or make any kind of calls. I had to call the taxi driver on the WhatsApp to do a 3 way for me because the host was never reachable. We ordered towels and went out to eat. 2 hours later the towel still were not there.. We saw the clean up manager outside by the gate to let him know that we had asked for towels 2 hours earlier.. He ended up bringing the towels then. We paid over $1,500 for four nights. This place should have had a phone to be able to make local calls especially in case of an emergency. Definitely should not have no nasty looking stained up carpet because the host makes the money to have these things replace or place within the Villas. Our family had an incredible stay at the Silk Cotton Villas in the Bahamas. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty of the property. The villa itself was immaculate and spacious, providing the perfect setting for a relaxing vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed both of the pools, which offered refreshing escapes from the Bahamian sun. The garden, with its lush greenery and vibrant flowers, was a delightful place to explore. A special highlight was meeting So-so, who gave us a wonderful tour of the garden. An unexpected yet delightful part of our stay was feeding the stray cats around the property. It was an added bonus that brought joy to our days. Shantell was incredibly helpful and ensured our stay was enjoyable and comfortable. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and her warm hospitality truly made our experience memorable. From the moment we arrived we were treated with a warm welcome from Shantell who gave us a tour of the complex and our home. The general manager Scott was very friendly and always interacting with guests.

The complex itself is approximately 11 acres. Entrance/Exit is gated and supervised by a gatehouse guard. The property is also fully contained within large walls. We felt safe the entire time we were there with no concerns. It is well maintained and landscaped. The main pool area was great to relax by and swim. There are multiple depths in the pool which made a great for the kids to swim in. The attached hot tub was a great feature.
