I stayed here for three nights and frankly wish I could stay longer. The docs are in good condition and clean, and there is plenty of room for each boat. John, the dockmaster, was extremely helpful and able to communicate with me and assist me in everything. The front office staff is also quite helpful and friendly. Some amenities that are not listed in the description are a very well-equipped exercise room, and a big screen TV with comfortable couches. The WiFi was fast and I got 5 bars from the middle of the docks. Showers were hot, and there are 4 washing machines and 3 dryers.
The restaurant, The Poop Deck, is rather good and is moderately priced by local standards, and has a well-equipped bar with TV sports. The marina is also about a 15-minute walk from a Starbucks, a surprisingly nice grocery store, and other assorted shops at the local shoping mall. Jitney buses ($1.25) also run directly in front of the marina going east, but to catch them going westbound you have to walk about 15 minutes north to Shirley Street.
Docking and utility charges are approximately average for the marina front, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly...

Otherwise, a cruising couple wouldn't be able to dock here. The currents, kamikaze boat traffic and zero floating docks makes egress an adventure to remember. Once tied (and re-tied)...get ready for a rip-roaring stay with crack-o-dawn commercial traffic, 10 knot sports fishing traffic and piling bashing tide changes. What fun! We had the added benefit of frying our $4K air conditioning unit with the marina's special 90v shore power supply. Promptly advised the dockmaster only to be advised to "try another circuit." --- Well, at least the water worked...when the mega yachts weren't using it. This place is convenient for provisioning, restaurants, marine hardware, etc... but aside from the expense, you'll...
Read moreDecent marina in a central location. Lot of current runs through here, but it's still easy to dock here. Pretty good bathrooms and showers and a great restaurant and dive shop on premises. Or you can walk a short distance to the fried fish shacks at the bridge. A shopping center with fresh foods grocery nearby. Sketchy part of town to walk around at night, but good security at the marina. Been coming here...
