False marketing, they show photos that are far from reality. No a/c, only a fan, boat is falling apart, no fish finder, 2 tackles for fishing, ended up catching fish you can catch in a pond. Boat is falling apart, you spend the time in cruising because if they try to go fast you smell the diesel inside the boat. Crew was embarrassed - they said company is from Florida and they always ask for better technology and resources, they have been waiting for it. We cut our trip 2 hours short, we took many photos of the reality of the boat. They reimbursed us for the hours we did not use but other than that we were not contacted by anyone yet. For the price they are asking they should provide many other things. How can you charter a fishing boat and not have a fish finder - especially when you are asking $2400 for 8 hours. Captain said he is blind without one, he will do his best to make sure kids catch few fish!!!!! If you are looking for a great day save your money. At least go see it in advance before packing and going the day of the trip. We expect a call and a right treatment from the management.

I will deal with the marketing company directly, I just want to let you know that all the points you made have an explanation:

We were not rude to anyone, we even left a great tip to the crew members. We knew how embarrassed the captain was, you can call and talk to him if you want to know about his true feelings about the boat. His comments made it very clear that he was having disappointed clients all the time.

After seeing the boat we called your rep 2 times, she did not answer, I told the captain that most likely they are not answering because they know we are shocked. We did not know if we can get our money back also when you have 3 children and have limited time you still hope that you will have a good time. We did not know that we will be looking for a fish with no fish finder and breathe the diesel gas from the exhaust all day long. If we knew how the day was going to turn out we would not even start our trip. After seeing the reality and experiencing these unacceptable conditions we ended our trip 2 hours early.

You are promoting this boat for $2400 for 8 hours, at least get a fish finder. 40 years of experience do not guaranty anyone to see below water - this is a ridiculous statement. Your captain said " I keep asking, they promise they will send it but it never comes. I am blind at the moment, I do not know where the fish are."

My group of 9 arranged for a 6hr trip with First Strike through FishingBooker. We all had a wonderful experience. Starting with the comfort in receiving pre-trip communication to ensure we would have all we needed, and relay what was important (some fishing/some island hopping) to us having the best experience overall. While we did have a scheduling hiccup (we set off about an hour and a half after the scheduled 10am start -but hey, we are all on Island Time right? Best Advice: just verify the details no matter who you book a charter with). I can't overstate it, the crew was fantastic! Captain Pedro was THE BEST!! He was close by to help with baiting hooks and spotting the best fishing & swimming spots, but wasn't "hovering" or in the way at all. First Mate, Pratt was also a big hit with our group, so friendly and helpful, as was Mr. Eugene. The boat was fantastic and had plenty of room for us and our gear. You have a lot of choices in the Bahamas, but rest assured First Strike, and Captain Pedro's crew in particular, will be the best companion guides in the beautiful waters off Paradise Island. It was my husbands birthday and I wanted to give him something special ! This trip was everything he dreamed of and more . Crew : captain Derk and his assistant -hands down the best crew we ever had! Very professional , very knowledgeable and very friendly ! Thank you captain Derk ! We will be back soon Boat -clean , immaculate , with all necessary items you need : mini fridge , comfy lounge area and upper deck -my favorite place . Views from upper deck to die for ! 3.Ride was so much fun . Weather was amazing . We made stops at few islands but captain is very flexible . He goes where you want to go , he is very laid back and easy . We swam with turtles , snorkeled .... and I can’t wait to come back for more adventures They can also provide you with food on the boat or stop at the island where they have restaurant . I’m forever thankful for providing us with the most amazing experience ! Thank you for everything...
