Holetown is a lovely place and this beach is in a great spot. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby so you can tap into their WiFi (if you must 🤣), and close to the town centre so you can nip to the supermarket for beach essentials. At the opposite end of the beach is Folkestone Park offering more shade from the hot midday sun. There’s a reef 🪸 5-10m from the shore where you’ll see all the fish 🐠 you could ever wish for. For the stronger swimmers, 🏊, if you swim a little further out you can see turtles 🐢 grazing on the sea grass and coming up for air. Sunbeds are between $20-$30bds each. You have access to inflatable rides, jet skis and glass bottom snorkel 🤿 boats at extra cost. If you’re staying locally, there’s no need to venture into Bridgetown for, you can just set up camp here for the day. Our first choice beach in every Barbados 🇧🇧 visit.

This beach is beautiful beyond words. The men are courteous and charming without being icky. Every local greets you just because and not because they're trying to sell you anything.

It is such a lovely area. We enjoy power walking on the beach, snorkeling and sundowners at the beach bars. It is beautiful and the water is so clear.

I parked in the lot next to Surfside, a free lot with about 15 spots maybe less, all first come first serve. I came at 11 am and got one easily. This is a beautiful, cleaned beach with no rocks at the shore line. The water is very gentle easy floating. It's busy with beach clubs and businesses, so offers to ride on jet skis and similar sports is easy here. It's more of the place where you buy a chair and umbrella. I took a towel and found a spot, which is fine, but it's a bit too busy there for that, so I got attention from locals. If you're in the mood for friendly chats, setting up on a towel is a great way to meet locals. If you want to chill, get a chair here. I loved it. Massey was across the street, so I was able to easily get water and take a quick break from the heat without driving or walking far. The town is right there, too, so...

A nice beach with beautiful sand and clear water. It’s a very busy beach with a lot of boating activity and people hassling you to take excursions and buy things and therefore was not relaxing so won’t visit again. Plenty of beds available for sunbathing. There are a number of cafes/restaurants...
