9th Feb 2025: Second visit. Now I see what all the posive reviews are about. We were served by the very efficient André, he took our drink and food orders. Almost within the blink of an eye, the drinks were on our table. The food arrived not long afterwards which for Barbados is short of a miracle, the staff were really on their game. Settling the bill was a delight, "Scully" the manager took our bill and deducted the cost of all cocktails from the final total as an apology for our failed booking on 4th Feb; this was almost a third of the bill and extremely generous (thank you 🙏🏾) ----------- 4th Feb 2025: First visit. Unfortunately our booking fell through. After some consternation as to whether we had a booking, we were eventually led to a table at which point we were informed that the chef was absent due to sickness and only pizza was available. We decided against that choice and went to an alternative restaurant. I was so looking forward to the lion fish tacos.

We ordered the fish, catch of the day. I’ve never had worse fish in Barbados, it lacked salt and the good ol bajan seasoning it was described as having. 3 of us ordered fish and it was all the same. We also ordered a couple of pizzas in the “wood fired” oven. They were meh. Could have had one from the freezer section and couldn’t tell the difference. It was bland and lacked salt and flavor. We had the a chicken one, but it only had a 3-4 pieces of chicken. My 15 year old daughter loved the plain cheese pizza, so yah. The drinks were pretty good though. Service was slow and had to ask for water multiple times. The view was nice, that’s the only positive. Will not give it a 2nd try.

We came here three times during our stay, twice for dinner and once for lunch. While I was a bit skeptical after my first meal, the second and third visits definitely changed my mind. The pizza here is the star of the show...the dough is spot on, with that perfect Italian Neapolitan quality. We also tried the daily special fish chowder, which was phenomenal (extra hot with lots of ingredients), and the daily catch on a Greek salad, both were excellent. The ceviche was decent, but the coconut shrimp and crab cakes were a bit disappointing. Overall, the food quality improved with each visit, and the pizza alone is worth coming back for. Glad we gave it another shot

A delightful bar on the coast with spectacular views of the sunset. Given this place 2 chances now as I just want to love it but tonight was the last one unfortunately. This has the potential to be a wonderful, vibrant place to chill, eat and drink. Food is good and the pizzas are good. Cocktails are tasty. Guy behind the bar is great and welcoming, the pizza guy is super friendly, however the waitress let's the whole place down. It is like she doesn't want to be there. First time, 3 of us ordered pizza, our 9 year old ordered crab cakes. We got our pizzas in good time but our 9 year old had to sit and watch us eat, and still wait over another 20+ minutes. When we asked, we were told they had a big party in, there was no apology at this stage. Later I did have a bit of a chat and said that it was not good enough to let a child sit there waiting, at least time our meals with hers. The apology was insincere. We also were not asked if we wanted more drinks, we sat there for about 90 minutes having just the one drink. As there was a few people in there that night we decided to try it again, got our first drinks ok but I also asked for 3 waters, we got 2. I asked for the 3rd, it never came. In the end after downing my cocktail I went to the bar to get my own water, she never came back to check if I got it, or apologise for forgetting. Never asked if my husband and I wanted another drink either. I cannot remember the last meal apart from here where we have had just 1 drink through dinner, they are missing a trick!...

Lovely setting on the beach , Amazing views of the sunset Nice décor inside and out . Unfortunately that’s where it stopped. Great idea cooking outside , unless it was old oil in the cookers oh boy the smell was awful when we were sat outside under the verandah. The service was ok outside, we had to remind them we had asked for a bowl of ice. Nice range on the wine and cocktail menu. I think it was opening night so not many people in. We had ordered a bottle of Minutey for the girls and Oyster Bay for us ( it said Oyster Bay but they had another NZ Sav it tasted ok so we opted for that .) May be we have been spoilt in a few other places like the Bearded Rose, QP and others where the waiters notice your glass needs topping up , ( especially as not many customers to attend too on our visit ) but it only happened on the first pour and occasionally duting the night. These touches take away the pain of paying $100 for a bottle of wine ! and make you feel appreciated. The guy was too busy talking to his colleagues or on his phone. They will have to get their act together when its busy In December, Jan Feb etc ! The food was .only average ..

Think as it is part of Paul Owens we were expecting more

What made it worse , I contacted by email to ask how I could contact Paul Owens , they said what's app , as they read the message and did not have the decency to reply...
