Ice Lab Barbados — Local services in Holetown

I visited Ice Lab Barbados in search of vegan ice cream, and I was pleasantly surprised! 😍 Not many places in Barbados offer such a wide selection of vegan ice cream, making Ice Lab truly unique! 💚 The atmosphere inside the mall is absolutely spectacular ✨, providing a cozy and inviting space to enjoy a sweet treat. 🏝️🍨

The variety of ice cream flavors is out of this world 🌍—my favorite was the chocolate 🍫, but there are also tons of exciting Barbadian-inspired options to explore, all vegan-friendly! 😋 If you're on the hunt for vegan ice cream, Ice Lab is definitely the place to be in the St. James area. 🗺️

Although the service was okay 🤷‍♂️, and I've had better elsewhere, the delightful atmosphere more than made up for it! 😄✨ The service could step up to match the high standard of the environment, but the variety of toppings 🥥🍓, cakes 🎂, and pastries 🥐 definitely added to the overall experience. 🍴

Pregnant lady served us and really made us feel like we was unwelcomed, there were three members of staff on, no hello, welcome and can we help. Just grunts and tutts. The images on Google are not what we saw. Only one cone type and only a few flavours avaliable. No offer of sauces or extra toppings. Then shoved at me at height above the glass counter. Then my husband asked for a brookie and scoop of ice cream and she looked even more annoyed. Left the ice cream on a tub on the counter not passed to us or mention that our ice cream was ready. Honestly my leaving comments are that the staff are as cold as the ice cream they serve. Would I return no. Two stars because what we did...

Nice enough ice cream at a reasonable price, but the service needs improving. After entering the store, there was no acknowledgement by the young woman sat at the counter. We asked a couple of questions about the products and got one word answers. We asked for a particular flavour but when the server realised they had run out, we were simply told to pick something else. No apology, no sincerity. We paid for our other purchases and didn't even get a "thanks" or "come again". Shame really, as good quality ice cream. Just had a server that evidently didn't want to be there I suspect....
