Pinguino🍦 — Attraction in Leuven

I am coming to Leuven for the first time, and my family knows I like ice cream, so they wanted to take me to the best shop in town. First impressions are really nice with a great visual presentation. Several different flavors, one better looking than the next. Everything went well while we were being served by one of the attendees. Very nice portions, and everyone was satisfied. Then it comes my turn to choose and I for some unknown reason tried to speed up the process and instead of waiting on the person already attending us decided to ask another attendee, mindful of the line behind me. Bad mistake, which I realized when she reached out to me with a very poorly served cup. I tried to hint her to that by putting it against another cup my family got from the other attendee. Unfortunately, that didn't trigger her to recognize her mistake. I am leaving this review in the hopes the standard can be set at the higher level. my favourite ice cream in leuven! the staff is always nice, the scoops tend to be big and it’s delicious! the speculoos and matcha-coconut are amazing, but I’ve never been disappointed there yet

their waffles are also tasty (you can combine them with ice cream too) and there’s many good vegan ice cream/sorbet flavours always

(Review aangepast) Snelle opvolging van de zaak over een misverstandje. Duidelijk een eigenaar die zijn hart in de zaak heeft gestoken. Aanbod van unieke smaken, het ijs viel hier in de smaak.

(Oude review) Het ijs is goed maar beetje spijtige ervaring gehad bij het bestellen van een ijsje. Één smaak was bijna op dus voor dat ik begin met bestellen vraag ik of ze deze nog hadden. Het meisje zei waarschijnlijk wel maar dat bleek achteraf niet, en ze vraagt of het goed is dat ze de restjes uitschraapt en aan mij geeft maar dat het waarschijnlijk geen volledige bol zal zijn. Ik zeg dat dat oké is, waarop ze meteen, zonder te vragen hoeveel bolletjes ik wil en of ik een potje of hoorntje wil, de restjes in een klein potje begint te doen. Ik zeg dat ik eigenlijk twee smaken wou. Ze schept de restjes van het kleine potje naar het grotere potje en voegt er de tweede smaak bij. Ik was verbouwereerd toen er plots een potje met een half bolletje van de ene smaak en een bolletje van de andere smaak voor mijn neus stond terwijl ik eigenlijk een hoorntje wou en nog wou vragen of ik volledige prijs zou moeten betalen voor het halve bolletje (waarop het antwoord achteraf dus ja...
