Just average food and a menu with simple recipes. This spot is clearly popular, as it filled up quickly, and we were lucky to get a table since we entered for lunch around 2PM. My pulled pork waffle was just okay – the flavors of both the waffle and the pork were completely overwhelmed by an excessive amount of sauce. It's a shame, because the components themselves seemed promising. My friend's tomato soup and soft-boiled egg were also just average - not that they are difficult to cook. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant enough. There were families with kids as well, but it didn't get noisy. I was hoping for more, and left a little disappointed. The bacon was perfectly done and the eggs came as an omelette, rather than sunny-side up as expected. Two sunny-side up eggs may have worked better with the bacon and waffle, but the omelette was quite delicious as well. The standout though was definitely the Masala Chai latte! Perfectly balanced spices, the right amount of cardamom, though not too sharp with the tea. The perfect drink for a rainy Sunday...
Read moreIt was a very nice experience to eat here, even though it is somewhat on the expensive side. We had the waffles with bbq chicken (€14) and pulled pork (€14,50), two cappuccino’s (€6,40), an earl grey tea (€3,20) and a brownie (€2,50 for a quite small piece). The total was €40,60. This is somewhat out of proportion compared to other similar places. (e.g. a bowl of Ramen soup at Susuru ramen costs only €13,50 and you have eaten more) The bbq sauce in the pulled chicken overwhelms as does the plum sauce in the pulled pork, that is quite...
