Royalty Rio Hotel — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata do Rio de Janeiro

My stay has been great. Rooms are spacious and clean. You can enjoy a nice hot shower as well. Reception staff are friendly and the hotel is only a 9 minute walk from Copacabana beach. I think it's situated conveniently close to restaurants,bars and clothing stores which are all within walking distance.

There's a pool and gym on floor 15 overlooking the city but keep in mind that the pool is quite small. The gym is small as well with not much equipment.

Your room is equipped with AC which I feel is a great addition with the heat in Rio. When I entered the room it had a rather unpleasant smell. I had to open my windows to air it out.

Breakfast leaves more to be desired. It's honestly not a proper breakfast and you have to pay extra for eggs. Just go and eat breakfast somewhere else. Breakfast is the worst aspect of this place but they excell at...

No idea where to start. Really by far one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at in Brazil. Absolutely nothing was working, that included the reception staff. The room was dirty. I had one coat hanger. There is no electrical outlet next to the bed, the chair was stained||. The iPhone of my girlfriend was missing when we came back to the hotel. I am only happy we have an insurance for that, and we just lock the iPhone, so nobody can ever use it again. Of course, people here are not bright enough to realize that before they steal.
