Great! Here's your updated review with the evening experience and street food included:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Must-Visit Market for Souvenirs and Street Food Lovers!

Russian Market is one of the most vibrant and exciting places in Phnom Penh. It’s well-known for souvenirs, handmade crafts, clothes, silk scarves, bags, and even electronics. You can find almost everything here at a good price – and bargaining is part of the fun!

During the day, the market is full of life and color. But if you come in the evening, it becomes even more special! Around the outside of the market, there are many street food stalls selling delicious local dishes, grilled seafood, fresh vegetables, tropical fruits, and cold drinks. It’s a great place to enjoy dinner and experience the real local vibe.

The people are friendly, the food is tasty, and the shopping is endless. Whether you’re looking for gifts or just want to walk around and eat, Russian Market is a perfect place to explore.

📍 Location: Corner of St. 163 & St. 440, Phnom Penh 🕕 Opens at 6 AM (Check the schedule...

Messy market with everything

In particular I go to get second hand and new scooter parts (also have some motorcycles parts for small engine ones)

Good place to buy a second hand scooter engine, carburator, wheels. Most of the stock is from Honda dream.

I was looking to get a carburator part for Honda today. A whole used carburator is 20$.

There is also a shop selling new parts. They can import from Thailand too

Apart from the parts the market also has lots of tools , chemicals, paints, cleaning products, garment, artwork, bamboo baskets and lamspahde, food courts , vegetables. I guess every kind of Cambodia relevant necessity.

You can't unfortunately find here big motorcycle second hand parts. You can find some simple ones that are shared with smaller engines like gaskets, spark plugs, chains,

There is nice sundown overlooking market.

Pleasant area in general (for Phnom Penh). Lively and natural, authentic living quarters of town, with a good mix of foreign style bars...

Overall it is a good market to walk around but there are a few little scams going around within the market with the food.

First of a is the lady who sell the noodle at one of the stores. Her tricks, she will tell you a low price with her noodles. The price increased straightaway telling you that it cost $2.50 instead of $1.25 if you want meat. I advice you to check and confirm the price of what you before sitting down. If not just walk away. Plus they purposely has no price on what they sell to confuse foreigners.

Later on the juice scam. Everything listed on the sign board show $2 for all juices without differentiate the size. However, they will charge a $0.50 extra when they serve telling you that the size they have for you is a large. My ”large" orange was charged $2.50 while my "large" pineapple is $2.

The noodle lady even worked with the juice lady and double ordered our juices and expect us to pay for it. I call this the "juice" scam.

Beware of her and the juice shop...

Things to do in Phnom Penh, Cambodia ⬇️ save for later Ok I’ll be honest, Phnom Penh is NOT one of my favorite cities in Asia and I think most backpackers and travelers would agree. There are some places that just don’t have that much to see and do and that tourists don’t love and PP is definitely one of those places, yet I’ve heard amazing things about being an expat and living in Phnom Penh so it all depends. For me it’s like Bangkok-many travelers say they hate visiting that city, but as someone who lived there for a year and has many friends who live there, we can all tell you how amazing it is! If you’re traveling through Cambodia however, it’s inevitable that you’ll end up in the capital city at some point and so here are a few things you can do if you go. In my honest opinion I’d say 2 days tops is enough. The absolute must visits are: Tuol Sleng or S21 prison The Killing Fields After you’ve visited the depressing yet historically fascinating museums to learn about the Khmer Rouge , here are a few more places you could check out if you have time: Riverside for a a sunset cruise Phnom Penh Night Market Russian Market Royal Palace Wat Phnom Daun Penh Let me know what you thought about Phnom Penh if you’ve been or what some of your least favorite cities are that you’ve been to and why? : : : #phnompenh #phnompenhcity #phnompenhlife #phnompenhcambodia #cambodiatravel #cambodiatrip #cambodiafan #beautifulcambodia #cambodiatourism #southeastasiatravel #thingstodo #visitcambodia #whattodo #backpacker #backpacking #getyourguide #tripitinerary #fyp #travelblogger #travelcontentcreator #traveltips #southeastasiatravel #imaginASEAN
