Great place to go. Whether you’re a couple solo or with a family who doesn’t like shiny rocks everybody. You get to learn about all the cool stuff in the area you get to see all kinds of maps. This was a lot of fun. I found it completely informative and then I ended up going rock hounding. I didn’t even know that Bancroft was like the rock capital of Ontario. I went there just to go swimming ended up, fighting a lot of cool rocks and having a lot of fun missions with my partner maybe drove them a little too crazy because I’m a magpie. Read moreA Nice Gem of a Museum In Bancroft As part of our long road trip to Bruce Peninsula we decided to pay a visit to the Town of Bancroft back in Aug 2022. The first attraction we visited was the museum. The mineral exhibit was quite interesting with fine collections of rocks, minerals, gems, and other items. Staff was helpful and friendly.
