Beautiful! Absolutely mesmerising to feel the power of these waterfalls on our national parks. Too many people don't get it that the only these beautiful shots in the world won't stay that way if they don't respect them and do their part to take care of them. Litter does not belong in the rivers and parklands or anywhere in fact than in the trash receptacles you see everywhere. I can't count the number of times I've seen litter dropped within feet of one of these bins. Would the folks that do that do it on their own property? Somehow I doubt they would. Those beautiful parks and grassy areas are there for our pleasure and enjoyment to be shared by all. Please treat them like you would your own home. I'll be 74 in a couple of months and for the first time in my life I had the extreme pleasure of seeing Waterton Lakes National Park (which is the north end of the Glacier NB National Park in Montana) and Banff firsthand when I spent a month with my cousin in Calgary, Alberta recently instead of merely surfing pictures on the internet. The real thing is simply breathtaking!! ...pristine lakes, forests, wildlife that seem to know they have nothing to fear from the humans sharing the space for a few moments of time, majestic mountains that give you a while new perspective and make you realize how small and insignificant we humans truly are in the great scheme of our beautiful planet earth. I would recommend everyone to see these parks at least once in your life although I would guarantee once would not be enough. Both of these national parks offer so much as do all of the national parks of North America I would imagine. If you're into camping Waterton Lakes has an amazing campground. I would recommend you make any bookings for staying overnight or camping for a longer period in advance as the campground in Waterton is quite large but it was reasonably full considering we went to the park before the season was fully open. We did not camp there ourselves but only stayed overnight in one of the many lodges in the Waterton Lakes Village. If you add a trip to these parks to your life I promise you that it will be a trip you will...

Bow Falls is a must see when visiting Banff, and biking there from downtown made the experience even more memorable. The trail to the falls is incredibly scenic, offering beautiful views all along the way. It's a fairly easy and relaxing ride, suitable for all skill levels, and can definitely be enjoyed by the whole family. We did the ride as a family outing, and our youngest who is 5 years old managed the trail without any issues. The path is well maintained and not too steep, making it perfect for young kids and beginner cyclists. For families with toddlers or very young children, using a child bike carrier would also work really well and make the journey comfortable. As you approach the falls, the sound of rushing water and the sight of the Bow River surrounded by trees and rocky cliffs adds to the sense of natural wonder. It’s a fantastic spot to take a break, snap photos, and soak in the peaceful surroundings. This bike ride to Bow Falls is a great blend of light activity and sightseeing, and it's an experience I would highly recommend for anyone visiting Banff, specially families looking for an easy adventure .Whether you're an experienced cyclist or just out for a casual ride, it’s a perfect way to enjoy Banff’s...

Bow Falls in Banff is an absolute gem of nature's beauty. From the moment I set my eyes on the falls, I was captivated by its majestic and powerful presence. The cascading waters, surrounded by lush greenery and towering mountains, create a breathtaking scene that truly takes your breath away. The sound of the rushing water is both soothing and invigorating, providing a sense of tranquility that is hard to find elsewhere. Whether you are a nature enthusiast, a photographer, or simply seeking a peaceful escape, Bow Falls is a must-visit destination in Banff.

The accessibility and well-maintained pathways make it easy to explore and appreciate the falls from various angles. The viewing platforms offer stunning vistas, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in the beauty of Bow Falls. The area is also rich in wildlife, and I was fortunate enough to spot some local fauna during my visit. The experience of witnessing the raw power of nature at Bow Falls is truly humbling and left me with a sense of awe and gratitude. If you find yourself in Banff, make sure to carve out time to visit Bow Falls - it is an unforgettable experience that will leave you with memories to cherish...
