At Wits End Bed & Breakfast — Hotel in Banff

We stayed At Wit's End for two nights and had a great experience.||Banff Airporter dropped us off right at the front door. April, the owner, was there to greet us upon our arrival. She was kind and resourceful.||Both the common area and our Twin/King room were clean and well-maintained. Pride of ownership showed in every detail. This well-appointed room had a generous-sized en-suite bathroom. ||I always look forward to gourmet breakfasts when staying at BnBs but unfortunately it was not offered here. But instead, the fridge was fully stocked with fresh continental breakfast items: various types of bread, butter, jam, yogurt, milk, fresh fruit etc. ||Although the property may appear to be located off the beaten path, it's only within an 8-10 minute walk from downtown Banff in a picturesque area. Definitely helped us reach our daily step count goals.||As a bonus, there is a Chinese restaurant along the way with unbeatable lunch specials (dinner specials could be as good, but we didn't get to try). ||We will not hesitate to stay here again or recommend this place...

Very enjoyable stay. Breakfast was a pleasant and enjoyable surprise. This is actually a proper Bed & Breakfast that serves real Breakfast (for some reason Breakfast at a B&B is not a given in Canada). The hosts were very friendly and the reason that this place is highly ranked. The common area was very nice. I was up before sunrise and she set up the Coffee machine and showed me what button to push for fresh Coffee for my 5:30 wakeup. I stayed in the cozy room, which is Europe hotel small and the Private Bathroom is across the hall...which is somewhat awkward, but I knew this coming in so no surprises. The other 2 Suites are self contained. Now there was an issue that came up before my arrival and the Hostess worked with to resolve it very fairly. Location is good, it's the Banff Springs side of the River and you can cut through the Administration building to walk to town. Would...

What this quaint place lacks in looks, it makes up in character, cleanliness & exceptional customer service. At wits end is a small, homey b&b very close (short walk) from downtown. Our lovely host was April, who was warm, accommodating and super friendly. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. Even other guests were gushing about her service and generosity. The place itself is slightly dated, but tastefully decorated, impeccably clean and functional. Everything u need including an in room fireplace is available. April has a well stocked kitchenette with tea, coffee and little snacks. The bed was very comfortable and warm, and it was a quiet and pleasant night. Don't overpay for some flashy hotel in Banff. This is where smart travellers...
