BC Cannabis Store — Attraction in Burnaby

I loved this store until tonight and that is 100% because of the manager William. Never seen this troll of a man in my life. I have two small service dogs (15 lbs) and WE have shopped in this store more than 20 times in the past. Tonight was the night that William the manager was going to make an example of me. I walk in and the guys at the desk ask to see their tags- sure no problem. Walk towards the cashier and William pops out of a door to some back area and I’m assuming he saw me walk in on camera. He says rudely “you can’t have dogs in here and you need to show papers” while I’m searching to show him the licenses he stands in front of them menacingly with his hands on his hips in an aggressive stance. My female dog jumped up on him to say hi. But the way William reacted she jumped down and barked. William said “get them out of here. Service dogs aren’t supposed to bark” I don’t know where this idiot gets his info from. Regardless he rudely told me to “go tie them up outside they aren’t allowed in here” so I said “you can’t do this. You can’t kick them out” he continued to maintain his position. I said wait for the review I’m going to leave as you are breaking the law. William said “now we are not serving you either don’t come back in here, we aren’t selling you anything” This guy is not a manager. He is a dictator that’s on a power trip. I am pre-diabetic and My male dog is trained to bark when he senses my blood sugar drops.when I got home I was upset, stressed and low and behold checked my blood sugar and it had plummeted. This could be a potential law suit all caused by this...

DON’T GO! I don't recommend it, it’s the worst possible service. I tried to make it easier to pay with cash and they didn't want to sell it because of 3 cents. ok, I then said I would pay with the card, but the full amount, not 3 cents on the card. The attendant even asked me out, completely rude, it seems like he works out of obligation. They will try to justify it here, because instead of listening to the customer and improving, they prefer to make excuses. Recipe for failure.

I really don't know what's going on with the staff. It must be a really bad place to work as they seem to be doing you a favor by helping you. I went back to the store and the current manager (young lady) is completely out of control emotionally. I was asking another employee, who was very polite, about the products and she growled to me to choose the product quickly as those were the ones available. Hold on, I was not talking to her. When I asked her to calm down, she completely lost her sense of emotional control, being disrespectful, and asking me to leave the store. Standard procedure there if they can’t talk. I wouldn’t be surprised if that is the maximum she will reach in her professional life. It's surprising how it feels like they're doing you a favor when you go shopping...

Has signs saying what your not allowed to come in with,has no dog sign and alot of these places are pet friendly. I had my dog, no place to tie him up, didn't want to leave him outside. They told me to get out and they will not serve me. I asked "where's the sign? Fyi There is no food, I'll be quick" they asked me to leave. They were rude!! Get a sign! Manager would not say a thing, Coward over a new staff member. Overpriced shifty Marijuana anyways. I Was just walking by thought cool well I'm here I'll check it out... but instead will let people know your shopping experience will suck. Overpriced, nothing special. There are WAY better stores. Or try your local dealer you trust, if you don't wanna pay an arm and a leg. I will not go back. And I'll make sure everyone is know who enjoys Cannibis will not...
