I recently had the pleasure of visiting Avenida Food Hall and Fresh Market, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. This food hall and market truly exceeded my expectations in every way possible.

First and foremost, the atmosphere of Avenida is simply delightful. As soon as you step inside, you're greeted with a vibrant and inviting space filled with a bustling energy. The beautifully designed layout creates a perfect blend of modernity and comfort, making it a great place to relax, explore, and indulge in a wide variety of culinary delights.

The selection of food vendors at Avenida is exceptional. From artisanal bakers to gourmet chefs, there is an incredible range of culinary offerings to satisfy every palate. I was particularly impressed by the diversity of cuisines available, with options ranging from authentic Mexican street food to delectable sushi rolls and everything in between. Each vendor showcases their unique talents and passion for their craft, resulting in a mouthwatering array of flavors.

One of the standout features of Avenida is the Fresh Market section. It's a paradise for food enthusiasts like myself. The market offers an extensive assortment of high-quality produce, fresh seafood, artisanal cheeses, and specialty ingredients that are otherwise hard to find. Whether you're looking to cook a gourmet meal at home or simply want to explore unique ingredients, the Fresh Market has got you covered.

The staff at Avenida are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to assist. They go above and beyond to ensure that guests have a fantastic experience. Whether you have a question about a particular dish or need recommendations, they are more than happy to help, adding a personal touch that enhances the overall experience.

Lastly, Avenida's commitment to sustainability is commendable. The food hall and market prioritize eco-friendly practices, such as using compostable packaging and promoting local and organic products. It's refreshing to see a venue that not only focuses on providing exceptional food but also cares about the environment.

In conclusion, Avenida Food Hall and Fresh Market is a must-visit culinary destination for food lovers. With its vibrant atmosphere, diverse range of vendors, exceptional fresh market, friendly staff, and commitment to sustainability, Avenida offers an unforgettable experience that will leave you craving to return for more. Whether you're a local or a tourist, make sure to include Avenida Food Hall and Fresh Market in your itinerary. You won't be disappointed!

I’ve been going to this place for years since I moved into the neighborhood, and the food sound there is amazing and has such a wide variety of demographics that I was so excited to see a Venezuelan place selling arepas. The rating is not on the food at all as I’ve never had a bad experience eating there, but my last visit was horrible.

I had covid two weeks prior to my visit, I wear a mask everywhere I go and I am careful not to get others sick and wish others would do the same for me. I still wear a mask everywhere I go because I don’t want to get sick again (I work in a medical setting so I can’t afford to get myself or others sick) and for the most part people don’t usually give me any grief about it.

However my last visit there I went in with my mask, used the hand sanitizer at the entrance and shortly after making my rounds trying to decide what food I wanted to get. I get asked by a cleaning lady in a very condescending way “why are you wearing a mask? You don’t have to” which, to be fair, that’s true, but as soon as I told her I had covid two weeks before, she gave me the most shocked expression I have seen. Not only did I feel like I was a plague victim, but her response and initial questioning made me feel unwanted. So, I left, without any food.

My advice, mind...

Visit this place on an empty stomach and you are sure to be overwhelmed by the selection. It was my first time, so I can only speak to what I ate. This is also my opinion of taste and preference so regardless of what I say, you should try some of these places for yourself. I went to both Que Chivo and and Fantasy Donuts. Que Chivo served me an order of three small sized chicken tacos topped with mango salsa. The taste was fresh and the chicken was lightly salted. I enjoyed this because it allowed me to experience all the flavors in the taco especially the mangos. The tacos are not massive so a large appetite will need additional food to completely satisfy. With a small tip my order came to $14.49. A friend suggested that I also enjoy a pretzel from Fantasy Donuts. This place is in the center, near the north side of the building. I ordered a plain pretzel which they warmed up in the oven and then buttered and salted it for me. It was absolutely delicious. The soft and chewy texture was exactly what I wanted. My order came to $4.46

I am very satisfied and will certainly be back to this food hall to try...

Came here for dinner on a Sunday evening with my boyfriend and let me tell you how amazed I was at the incredible variety of foods that were available here. I have never been to a place like this and I really enjoyed my experience! The food was delicious! We got ham & cheese arepas, dragon noodles, tres leches cake, and Vietnamese coffee. It’s a little bit pricier but that’s totally fine because you get what you pay for and the servings were pretty generous. Staff were kind and friendly. The environment was pretty clean and well-maintained. It was busy but there were still plenty of tables available. I’m excited to come back here to try something new!

We have always enjoyed this open space food market, and we’ve visited many times with our small dog without any issues. Unfortunately, this time our experience was ruined by a woman with short red hair from the organic farm vegetable shop, who approached us twice in an unpleasant and intrusive manner. There are no signs anywhere stating that dogs are not allowed, yet she insisted we move outside, using an unfriendly tone that completely spoiled the atmosphere. Other food court vendors confirmed they have no problem with dogs. It’s disappointing when someone representing a business chooses rudeness instead of polite communication.

Great little mini food mall with local vendors! Waaaayyy too many options to select from, will definitely need to come back soon. Great option for the kids as each were craving different food for dinner. There are a couple produce stalls as well, and we ended up picking up some fruit and veggies. As with many restaurants during COVID, it appeared as though most of the vendors were on all the food delivery apps...so a great option if you don’t have enough time to drop by. Lots of public parking in and around the Avenida retail centre.
