Yes, new Canadians are there. They've made it to the land of dreams. No discrimination milk and honey they'll be respected for who they are...? One particularly snotty librarian, looked like a frumpy aunt from 1932; objected to me removing my footwear. I was sitting reading, would be something else if I were barefoot. Furthermore isn't wearing shoes much more hygienic than removing my shoes? I suspect she was a mini megalomaniac and the library is her personal a ansluß aka reich.

This is a quiet and lovely library where you can find all services you need including printing, internet access and computer use. As all libraries, you will find a specific area for kids with games, stories and kids books. Staff members are always working to answer questions and help people. I recommend visiting it if you live nearby and start reading books. One book everyday keep you mentally health everyday.

Worst Calgary library branch ever. The infrastructure is the worst in all of Calgary. Hardly any PC's to use, no space to even walk thats how congested it is. And most importantly the staff are the worst, zero customer service and quite racist which is inexcusable for staff working at a public library. CPL needs to investigate this branch.

Friendly staff, close to my house, but I still opt to go elsewhere. Why? There are several reasons: The kid's area is largely comprised of unsupervised neighbourhood kids and students running around and trampling my disabled toddler. There have been several occasions where I've had to intervene on kids too old to be in there screwing around because apparently the librarians don't see it (or choose not to care because it's not their kids?). Maybe it's the giant concrete barrier closing this area off that allows these shenanigans to be a continuous issue. But it is almost always an unpleasant feeling when we leave. Poor selection of fiction for adults or even YA (compared to central, nose hill, village square or forest lawn) When I've placed holds to this branch, I get the notification to pick them up. So I go there, and they're never out. So I have to seek someone out to get them from the back for me. Don't confirm them as ready if they aren't. I've walked down there specifically to pick up holds and been told they can't find them and come back tomorrow.

It would be nice to see this library renovated and managed a...

I have been going to this location for about a month and found the staff were very helpful. However last week experience was not very impressive. A lady used the colour printer to scan a stack of books. She copied a few pages of each book. There was two ladies (they were together) who were ahead of me waiting to use the printer as well. I stood there for at least 10 minutes. Then they asked one of the staff but were told they couldn't asked the user to stop doing what she was doing. Finally the two ladies didn't want to wait any longer and left. It took 20 minutes waiting in line to get my 5 pages in colour printed and just because one person used the printer for all that time.

There is a time limit on computer usage, and why not a time limit on the...

Was there in March 2017. My experience was this: out-of-control kids and people speaking loudly (including staff). Kids were running past me. Seemed like I was in a preschool classroom. Is there a toy room in there? I expect some noise but this was over the top and I could not focus on reading. Not exactly the library's fault but perhaps the staff need to implement and enforce some sort of guideline or rules. I've been to many library locations and this was by far the noisiest and most disruptive environment of them all. If you like to get a book and read it in relative peace then you get in, get what you want...
