I would like to say this is the best bbq restaurant in calgary.

Service The owner is very kind and attentive, always carefully listening to customers' feedback and paying close attention to their dining experience. But feel like server lack of serving experience and not seeing welcoming on their face.

Food egg plant salad： 10/10 never had such special flavor of eggplant, egg plant green pepper mixed with some interesting sweet and sour garlic sauce. Scallop: 10/10!!! Most recommended. Unlike other bbq place, the vermicelli has absorbed the garlic sauce and the fresh taste of scallop. Beef tendon: 7/10 texture is so soft melt in mouth, but not flavor enough. Lamb: 10/10 OMG I don’t usually eat lamb, but unfortunately we went there too late, they had sold out the beef. Well this is first lamb skewer that I ever like! There is no gamey taste of lamb and the fat melts away in the roasting process, leaving behind the rich fragrance of the oil. dirian balls：7/10 it’s durian custard inside the balls, a little too sweet for me, but overall a good dessert. Be careful it was really hot when it first served. (I wish they could have some more refreshing desserts or drinks)

Atmosphere The decor of the restaurant offers a strong sense of privacy, make me feel “secure”😂, can eat as much as I want without worrying how ugly I am when I am eating. Creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere.

As a new restaurant, they are actually doing a very great job, and I feel like they need some more main dishes too, for example like some fried rice, noodles and so. Anyways, definitely coming back and recommend...

We drove 40 minutes in a heavy downpour just to dine here, only to be deeply disappointed. The restaurant clearly had two empty tables for two, yet refused to seat us—a family of two adults and two small children. With just a bit of consideration, they could’ve easily arranged the seating to accommodate us. But they didn’t. Why? Probably because two separate adult pairs would bring in more revenue than a family with kids. This kind of profit-driven attitude, with no regard for customer experience, is truly disheartening. We felt unwelcome and dismissed. We will absolutely not return.

In response to the owner’s claim that the table was reserved: We arrived at the restaurant at 6:30 PM, and the table was reserved for 8:30 PM. We clearly stated that we would finish our meal before 8:30, yet we were still turned away. This left my children very disappointed. I would like to reiterate my opinion: I will not return to a restaurant that lacks empathy and is not...

I had an amazing dining experience at Balcony Grill! The authentic flavors, perfectly grilled skewers, and variety of dishes truly captured the essence of traditional Chinese barbecue. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to gather with friends or family. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring everything was just right.
