Overpriced!
Paying more for less is definitely a trend in downtown Calgary with these newer condos... sigh. Almost $2000 for a 500 sqft studio unit is ridiculous, I don't care how much your salary is... and this comes from someone who has done well for himself.
Own a car? Forget about living here then because you will get gouged on parking. For a place that dubs itself as "all inclusive living" you really should also include the parking... then it might be worth it... maybe. Are people never supposed to leave downtown? Shall I fetch an Uber to go on a road trip, go camping, visit Banff, etc...???
Utilities, cable, and internet are included... great! That's where you get some of that "all inclusive" value.
The building has direct access to the +15 network, which is Calgary's way of connecting most office buildings downtown. Terrific, this is probably the best part... if it's a balmy -25C outside you can stroll to work wearing just your sweater... well hopefully pants too!
Has a decent sized gym with nice views of the city. Cool! While you're burning calories you can also think about the hole you're burning in your wallet. LOL
Bike storage is included... but I never understood business professionals that choose to ride a bike, especially in the mostly mucky months of in-between weather. How the hell do you keep your clothes clean? This is NOT SoCal!
Quality finishings. Spectacular views. Amazing art. Office space. Conference rooms. Wonderful.
Look, the building is an amazing piece of architecture offering decent value... but only to those residents who have opted out of vehicle ownership... IMHO. Throw in the parking and you might actually live up to that "all inclusive" marketing slogan you created for your...
Read moreWe’ve lived at TELUS Sky for a total of four years, and it has truly been an incredible experience. From the beginning, we were always treated with care and respect by Amanda and the entire team. Everyone is consistently kind, helpful, and committed to providing the best service possible.
Living at TELUS Sky has been a joy. The gym keeps improving and is always clean and well-organized. The apartments are stunning — modern, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. Amanda is always attentive, going above and beyond to ensure that residents feel comfortable and supported. I live here with my family, and we genuinely feel at home.
Although we had to move a few times over the years, coming back to TELUS Sky always feels like returning home. It's a place where we feel safe, welcomed, and well taken care of.
I also want to give special thanks for the air quality management during this year’s wildfires. While the smoke outside was overwhelming, the building’s filtration and air system were exceptional — the air inside remained clean and fresh. That made a huge difference for our well-being.
A heartfelt thank you to Amanda and the entire staff. You are truly amazing people, and we’re so grateful to be part of the TELUS...
Read moreOne star is for the desk people and the other star is for how clean the place is and the grand piano. The security guards get no stars as he was rude and very loud, treating this homeless person like he didn’t deserve respect when all he wanted to do was play the piano. No sell dope, not steal…simply enjoy playing the piano. He tries daily to play that’s I’ve noticed, unsuccessfully making it to the piano most days. I was recording my Christmas piano demo and caught one of these “conversations”. But I won’t release it, but I should. The guard needs to practice empathy or at least better people management skills. The other lost star is for the one cleaner, and I’ve gone a few times at different times a day on his shift just to prove my point, either waits until I show up, to begin washing AND waxing the floor. Like he can’t wait the whole 15 minutes we’re allowed to play. Lastly, the last lost star is for the little deli of whatever that food place is on the same floor. That guy literally turns up his radio. Loud. First thing in the morning? I can understand it later through the day but 9 am ? Geez. I haven’t gone back. But someday I may be forced to due to lack of...
