Low Level Bridge — Attraction in Central Core

Not sure why I am reviewing a bridge but this is one of the oldest in the city and was originally used for transporting products across the river by rail. Its a cool looking bridge with style from a bygone era. Good to drive on or see from a distance but as soon as you get close you quickly realize the city does not care about it. Totally rusty and run down. I guess they put all of their money into the bright and shiny walterdale bridge instead of spending a few dollars sprucing up this one. This bridge is, as others have commented, quite rusty. I don't believe, however, that it is unsafe. It demands a lot of attention when crossing, due to narrow lanes and a right-hand turn northbound that is right at the end of the bridge. I hope that Edmonton gives it a good scrub and new coat of paint soonish, though there are a few major construction projects to clear from...
