Downtown Charlottetown Market — Attraction in Charlottetown

We stayed in Charlottestown for 1 night in the heart of the city on Prince Edward Island we were planning to go biking on some trails while we are in Nova Scotia but during the night somebody decided to steel our 2 Cannondale bikes from the back of our truck. There is a decent variety of vendors and some very beautiful "crafts" (wood work, painting, hand made pottery, food vendors, farm, etc).

I only rated 3 stars as I was expecting a lot more from visiting so many other outdoor markets throughout Canada.

Honestly, I really enjoyed the indoor farmers market on Saturdays! I would still recommend visiting the Downtown Market as part of your PEI experience - especially if you are new...

If you’re not from PEI then you wanna make sure you ask a local about the timing and days of the market which can be very different than other provinces.

Around the farmer's market, the lakeside restaurants are built on the floating area which can feel it when you will enter it.
