Dartmouth Crossing is a must visit place if you are visiting Halifax and Dartmouth for your shopping fun ( especially for the ladies). While at the same time there's plenty of restaurants and Cinaplex theatre to complete your enjoyment. Brand name Hotels, popular fast food chains, privately owned restaurants, and yes gas stations are ALL within each other. To my own personal experience it's not equal to the Canada One Center at Niagara Falls in Ontario. Dartmouth Crossing in Dartmouth Nova Scotia is actually way BETTER. Rather you are shopping, dinning, or movie going on the BIG screen for popcorns & soda there's plenty for the entire family. Believe or not you can also do groceries shopping, hardware and home reno shopping from the BIG BOX stores nearby too. Car repair or maintenance too from the huge CT centre nearby. It's a great place just for a nice leisure walk with a friend or family. For people who are more adventurous there's also a natural scenery trail path for your pleasure. Public washrooms and wheelchair accessible parking and store entrances are available for...
Read moreDartmouth Crossing was busy as usual but that it wasn't busy to cause traffic issues which is always nice. My company Atlantic ArielworX was filming a promotional ad for one of the stores in the area and we never have a problem finding the stores or parking nearby them. And there's two main roads that head towards Burnside and I believe they'll be opening up another Main Road in the near future. The only location where you may have to worry about parking is on the Christmas holidays by the strip mall. The rest of the year it's fine. It's very easy to find the store that you're looking for and I find the streets and the sidewalks and the grass always clean with next...
Read moreI'd like to give this place 4.5 stars. My only problem is that with it is the road system in this outdoor shopping complex is not set up very well. But there are are literally tons of places to shop and grab either a snack, coffee, or meal. All brand new too, as Dartmouth Crossing was developed around 2008. You'll find all the big name stores. Walmart, Canadian Tire, Best buy, Bed Bath and Beyond, a Chapters. Lots of other stores too that range from medium to high in price. There is also a large Cineplex there too. And opening later this year, a gigantic Ikea. Dartmouth Crossing is set up better than Bayers Lake too in design. That being said, it's still a shopping district for car owners in particular. Not for pedestrians or...
