Cannabis Bay — Attraction in Edmonton

Considering how many weed stores are on whyte av in this area, cannabis bay is one of new my favourites. They have a few special good deals on flower and 1 gram pre roll packs you should ask about.

I have crippling anxiety and the vibe in there is always calm and clean and rather quiet. I think because it’s not a chain people skip over it, but that’s why it’s a hidden gem. So I’m only writing this review because the employees deserve their praise!

One in employee named Jeena (I hope this is spelt right I’m so sorry if it’s not!) stands out for her friendly professionalism. I think her attitude makes a world of a difference for a regular mundane weed run, especially for a person who struggles with going in public. And it’s nice to talk to a knowledgeable clerk to try new things.

Generic, weak menu selection - all from the big LPs minus one or two craft selections. Menu needs to be better with more drops - it's very stale and hasn't changed much in months. You'll get more business if you cater to the weed connoisseurs. Where's Truro? Simply Bare? Partake? Pistol and Paris? Beeba Boys (Willie Nelson)? Even Carmel Animal Face? I could go on and on.

It seems like management doesn't have vast knowledge of what good cannabis is.

Sterile unwelcoming feeling environment, there’s no menus posted anywhere so the entire storefront is just display garbage and plain white walls, the only menu is in a small binder up front that was sticky to the touch.

I wish I could’ve browsed the selection everyone keeps speaking so highly of, but the sales rep was breathing down my neck trying to rush me.

Don’t have strains listed for the rotational products, and average to above average pricing. Probably won’t be back considering the amount of option...
