Hate giving such low Mark's but in this case I had to. I live right across the street pretry well and have been anxiously weighing for over a year for this place to open. I Showed up at 11am ordered 1lb of BBQ sausage which was $13.99 there abouts and a small hot and sour soup. Was told the BBQ items would take another half hour to be ready. A bit disappointing. But had nothing to do so weighted. When it was ready I went up to pay. The price for the sausage was $9.99. I said that is less then it showed on the menu. He said we no longer offer the 1lb. But we can make it a double. I was well then that would be $20 not $13. I asked to see how much was in the order and was enough sausage to basically cover the palm of my hand. Maybe a 1/8th of a pound. So even two orders would not be anywhere near a pound. At this point not telling me when I first ordered and then being offered far less for more then they had on there menus still. Not to mention they did not even know the wifi code for the guest wifi. I just left and ate somewhere else.
So you lost a customer who would have frequented your restaurant often and I did not even sample your food. To me this is inexcusable and the likelyhood of me ever coming back is pretty much zero. Don't see this place being...
Read moreNot great for what I ordered. I ordered the sliced bbq pork and sliced crispy pork, a pound of each. Both were bland tasting compared to ordering from an authentic bbq meat place in Chinatown. The bbq slices were dried, not fresh. I ordered a pound of each. It didn't weight a pound each. They filled each container with pickle vegetables at the bottom which makes the crispy pork rind soggy and use it as a filler. I paid $32 for what I think should have cost $16. I kid you not, there were 8 slices of each type of pork. Works out to be $2 per slice of pork. That's outrageous. I had high hopes for this place since I live in the neighbourhood. I won't be going back. Looks like the place is struggling. There is a reason for this. I do not wished them to do bad. But they need to smart up...
Read moreDinner time ... Small restaurant with only a limited number of small tables. Two large tables are located upstairs for family dinners or larger groups. Street parking only. Great food... The vegetables were nicely done and not over-cooked in both dishes I ordered. I prefer the Cantonese chow mein noodles to be a bit more crispy, but the taste was still fantastic. The flat noodles dish was delicious. Shanghai noodles were a tad undercooked. Large portion sizes; reasonable prices; friendly staff; clean and bright...
