I'm very fond of spinach on my pizza and having garlic sauce on pizza over tomato sauce has been a game changer for my palate.
So when I came across City Pizza's Spinach Supreme with a garlic spread as base, topped with mushroom, feta, cheddar and of course the namesake spinach, you best believe it had my attention. It has yet to dissapoint being absolutely delicious, packed with flavour and leaving me stuffed after every box is demolished.
It has truly become my comfort go-to pizza to order/takeout and the prices and deals available are great especially when other places are trying to make north of $20 normal for a large. Decent garlic bread too and a friend praises their Gyro pizza, I've never tried it but I trust his enthusiasm.
I've ordered delivery and made take-out orders at the Woodlawn location and always found my pizza's hot, fresh and baked to directions. Love the golden crusts.
Have never waited beyond a reasonable time-frame specified. The establishment has always been clean and the staff friendly and engaging.
While it's a small store with minimal dining space it is pleasant if you want to sit-in for a quick lunch/bite and then go.
Only had an issue once with an order long ago and was immediate offered a replacement pizza free. I will not forget that.
If you love pizza (and certainly Guelph has a lot to supply that need) make sure City Pizza is on...

Ok so I thought I'd try the cauliflower crust pizza. Why? Because I'm keto. Since becoming keto, cauliflower crust has been a go to for pizza that is keto so long as the toppings are keto.
Well don't let cauliflower crusts fool you as it did me. The first time I saw the option I asked the counter guy if he had the ingredient list or nutritional value of the crust. Of course he said no, which in of itself disappointing.
I then sent an email to head office for this list and value but never got a response. So I took a chance one day and decided to try the cauliflower crust pizza. So when I had City Pizza's cauliflower crust for the first time.... I said to myself... there's no way this is keto friendly. So I proceeded to send yet another message specifically asking for the ingredients and nutritional value and again no response. I sent 3 more messages and finally an acknowledgement asking what it is that they could help me with. I requested the list and it took them 2 days to finally reply and sure enough....IT'S NOT KETO!!! 20gr per 50gr crust or 1/6 of a medium pizza. Ingredients include corn starch, rice flour, potato flour, dextrose, fructose and brown cane sugar.
So be aware if you assume it's keto just because it says cauliflower crust.

Read moreMy family and I had tried city pizza for the first time . We had viewed the reviews for cost, quality ,quantity and flavor were well placed ; we found the price to be a fair cost in pizza and wings ratio for a family. We ordered a lg with wing and garlic bread The disappointing factor was that the pizza had barely any sauce ,they had way way to much cheese and minimal pepperoni compared to many other places . As for the wings they were not fully cooked to the point where we had to cook for an extra 15 mins . My 2 year old , my hubby and myself have been experiencing sore stomachs and had a sleepless night due to sore tummies. We unfortunately did not have a good experience with the food . But the staff were kind and friendly and had a clean kitchen . The best thing to see is a clean kitchens and it was not did it contain a cleaning chemical smell which is great it smelt like pizza but super clean . There menu contains everything which some places dont and you have to ask so I will give there presentation of restaurant and cleanliness a 10 out of 10 but the food gets a 2 😥...
