Shelby’s Legendary Shawarma — Restaurant in Guelph

Having lived in Ottawa for a few years turned me into a big shawarma snob ...so I was definitely disappointed when I couldn't find anything as good in the tri-city region .I essentially gave up on shwarma... I randomly stepped over to Shelby's today on my lunch break - thinking im settling again - as soon as I walked in, Aman greeted me with a huge smile and laid out my options ... even brought the food to me ... right away you can tell that they make everything (including the wrap) on site ... I wish I could effectively convey how delicious this food was. The place is spotless, the prices are excellent, and the wrap will bring you to another world ... number 1 spot this side of Ontario hands down !! Get it ...now ...no debate...

Great place now in Guelph, food was great as well as service,they are giving all new customers 10percent off on order. Loved it ,it seems like this is only store which is big enough,where you can sit and eat easily. We ordered Biryani rice with shish touk, Shish touk and salad,Legendary Wrap and Another biryani rice with shawarma. I feel that shish touk was not fresh,ot was very dry,I have ate it in London,Mississauga and Cambridge locations never felt this but here it was dry.May be staff is still training or learning to cook. I went to Shelby’s yesterday and had such a great experience — not just because of the delicious food, but also because of the excellent service. The shawarma was fresh, juicy, and full of flavour. I tried the wrap with their signature sauces, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time. What really stood out to me though was the service from Khushpreet Kaur. She was super friendly, professional, and welcoming. She made great recommendations and ensured everything was perfect with our order.
