For a leisurely stroll along Halifax harbor to culminate at the Seaport Farmers' Market is an enjoyable way to spend a sunny Sunday in August (or anytime of the year). There are a variety of merchants, craftspeople and farmers(or those representing the farms that they work for) purveying delicious produce and meats. Hand crafted jewelry and wooden painted folk art as well as artisan concoctions both fermented and distilled. The air is a buzz with aromas of good food and happy conversation with the pleasant background music of local if not widely known artists. There is little disappointment to be found here if you are inclined to devote part of your weekend to visiting the Halifax Seaport Farmers'...

so many vendors! an amazing place to shop for christmas gifts. i love this place because it really brings together everything local and so many cool artists. there’s coffee, sculptures, indian food, pierogis, breakfast foods, pastries, fresh produce, art, clothes, jewelry, soaps, mittens, candles, the list goes on! a very busy place and a wonderful atmosphere! very spacious. things here are usually pricey but for good reason. there’s also lots of tables to sit and eat your food at and chat with people around you. also a beautiful location - right on the water! and just a walk away from downtown. everyone here is so sweet and it’s impossible to not be in a good mood at the...
