JJ Korean Mart — Attraction in Halifax

I wanted to make a few Korean dishes (my very first time) for a couple friends of mine that used to live in Korea. I was nervous about going to a new store filled with ingredients I didn't know very much about. The people at JJ Korean Mart were wonderful, and went out of their way to help me find everything I needed to make Dakgalbi, Japchae, and Mandu! This shop has a friendly atmosphere and excellent variety of dumplings, noodles, meat, and pantry items (both canned & dry). The prices are reasonable. The owners are always courteous and helpful. I visit JJ Mart regularly to replenish our supplies of ramyun, Milkis, banana or strawberry milk for my son's lunches, Lotte treats, ddokbokki, delicious Melona popsicles, red bean buns, dumplings, kimchi, rice, Korean curry, and beef or pork marinade.
