I would like to express my disappointment with our experience here. We go here for our 9 month old Border Collie once in a while. We went here this April 18th and there's a husky that was clearly being aggressive with our dog. My husband tried to pull away our dog from them (take note our dog is very submissive and never tried to bark or lunge with the other dog, he just want to run with other dogs). During this commotion the owner of the husky was nowhere to be found (the owner was sitting far away and chatting with the other dog owner. He suddenly came in and was asking if our dog got hurt. We'll... no because my husband tried to pull our dog away. My husband said to him "you should look out for your dog" he didn't even said sorry, he just said "is your dog hurt?" We didn't fully tried to answer him because we are checking our dog.
My husband and I decided to go to the trail side, away to the actual park and sat on a bench to calm down ourselves and our dog. After few minutes the same husky came again, tried to smell our dog and the husky growl and made a biting manner to our dog. Our dog is already on leash with my husband and trying to hide (submissive manner of him). Same OWNER was nowhere to be found AGAIN.
My husband look for the owner and he said that he should look after his dog, the husky owner said "this is a dog park" and there's one guy saying to my husband "why he is the only one being CRITICAL?" 🙄🙄
OMG I can't believe there are irresponsible dog owners like that. Yes, that is a dog park but you should still supervised your dog because your dog might hurt other dogs. It's basically like letting your kids play in the playground, are you going to let them play unsupervised? No right?
PLEASE BE A...
Read morePark itself ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ the morning “group” on weekday mornings -⭐️‘s as they have made this park feel like their own and were verbally abusive because I had a treat pouch around my waist and “you are not allowed to have treats in the park” (to be clear I wasn’t even treating my own dog let alone anyone else’s which I’d never do). Their dogs were rough and tried ripping it the pouch off of my body, the owners were as aggressive when they obviously had no control over their dogs. I was told it was “on the rules” which it is not and I’ve been to many dog parks and have never experienced this type of verbal abuse over an obviously made up rule because they have dogs with behavioural issues. We had to leave as a result of this and how rough their dogs were being with our dog. Great facility but a toxic group of folks have claimed this space with problematic human and...

On the weekends, it's a delightful place.
On weekdays, it's full of horribly untrained dogs and quite cruel and aggressive owners who use negative training tactics, and will quite literally scream at you if you do positive reinforcement with your own. This man yelled transphobic things at us because we gave our dog a treat to reward his recall, and another person told us we weren't welcome back because their dog was too aggressive with our puppy and they couldn't control their dog.
We've been to dog parks across the country and this one was the worst experience we've ever had.
I don't recommend going here alone, especially if you are of a marginalized identity. The privileged think they're in...
