My visit to The Lower Deck was nothing short of exceptional. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, perfect for catching up with family over great food and drinks. What really stood out were their half-price appetizers, which made trying a variety of dishes irresistible.

I started with the onion rings, which were crispy on the outside and perfectly tender inside—a true delight. The portion was generous, and they were served piping hot, exactly how I like them.

Next up were the chicken quesadillas, and let me tell you, they were outstanding. Packed with flavorful chicken, gooey cheese, and just the right amount of seasoning, each bite was a symphony of flavors. They were served with fresh salsa and sour cream, which complemented the quesadillas perfectly.

The service was prompt and friendly throughout my visit, adding to the overall positive experience. I can't wait to return to The Lower Deck and explore more of their menu. Whether you're looking for a casual dinner or a place to unwind with friends, I highly recommend The Lower Deck for its delicious food, vibrant atmosphere, and...

I’ve been going for years. Mediocre service and food. However, a few nights ago I was playing the VLT machines. In the middle of my free spin bonus, the machine glitched. The machine was restarted, but unable to be fixed that night. The machine did not print a ticket, and needed to wait till Monday till a technician could be onsite. Julia the manager made the whole experience feel as though I was inconveniencing her and that asking when I could come pick up the money the machine owed me, seemed like a nuisance to her. Anyway, after 2 days I contacted Nova Scotia gaming corporation myself and was advised there was a malfunction with the machine, my free spins were lost, but I was able to go retrieve the money from Clayton park bar & grill. The malfunction may not have been the bars fault, but the way they made me feel while trying to figure out how to proceed/collect my earning was truly disappointing. Entire staff made me feel like I was inconveniencing them, when I was the one being severely inconvenienced. Will...

Came here on Canada Day for a late night meal and drinks with friends. Our server informed us that the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes so we ordered right away.

The vegetable burger(s) were great as per my friends along with the sweet potato fries which were quite ‘sweet’.

The stir fry looked great but my friend mentioned the sauce was a bit too much and overpowered the taste and crunchiness of the vegetables. The sauce itself had a sweet taste so it was a bit sweeter than expected.

I had their Pale Ale Battered Fish & Chips. They were fine but not the memorable kind unfortunately for me.(I love fish and chips). The only difference was the batter which definitely had a nice texture to it. Fries/chips were nothing special.

The drinks were great and our server(who also made our drinks) was so kind and helpful. We had a great time and relaxing time thanks to her prompt service and also the fact, there wasn’t a crowd at the time.

All in all, not perfect but still a decent option to have a good...

This is the neighborhood go-to for a beer and a conversation at the bar, for a meal of pub favourites and/or comfort foods, as well as nighttime musical entertainment and trivia nights. Like brunch? Don't miss brunch on the weekends and always get the fresh biscuits that always arrive warm. The nachos are legendary here for a reason, after all. On this latest visit, I strayed from my usual (burger or grilled chicken sandwiches are always a winner) to try the new maple prosciutto burger. Oh man - it was better than I expected! Thicker cut prosciutto that has been candied with slightly spiced maple syrup, served with Swiss cheese, an onion aioli, on top of a generous hamburger patty in a fresh bun... it was the definition of perfection. I hope it stays on the menu indefinitely because I think it's my new fav... and I ate it before I even thought of taking a photo!

Dec 2018 Gathering of old friends and good times. Service was great, and the food was delicious. Sept 2018 Back again, and this time had the chowder. Really small for a bowl and barely had any seafood in it. Tea biscuit was the best part. Next time I will try the boneless chicken wings like my friends. Fish cakes looked good, but didn't get a report on how good they were. June 2018 Have been here multiple times. The food is good and the service is good. They are good for breakfast, and food portions are good as well. The bathroom has literally the coldest, ice-freezing water I've ever experienced. And it never warms up, so if you want to wash your hands, be prepared for them needing mittens for about ten minutes after, even in the summer time.
