This type of ASIANS market is new in Halifax. Perhaps for the entire NS and the Maritime region. Just opened last weekend. Extremely busy. Plentiful of ASIAN groceries selections, cooked food ( combos, dim sums, and bubble tea) take out counter, Hugh selection of frozen food, fresh meat and requested butcher cuts, live seafood, bakery, canned and dry packaging foods, dairy products spices. Of course, the must have wide variety of fresh ASIAN fruits and vegetables. Store made cooked Chinese style of BBQs are high in demand inside the store. It's a pleasure and exciting place to visit if you're in Halifax while looking for some groceries or a quick bite for take out food. The entrance is equipped for disability people. With ample disability parking.

By far our favourite Asian grocery store now. So excited that bbq meats are finally in Halifax. Also love their frozen dimsum selection. But beyond their offerings, the management listens to feedback and I’ve already seen drastic improvements to their first few days of launch which was understandably crazy and overwhelming. I hardly see long lines when I go now but a consistent flow of people and it appears to be running quite efficiently now. Staff have all been kind and patient. Really no complaints! Prices are also reasonable. I send the prices to my mom in Vancouver who says they are all comparable to their costs there now. Food price increases are happening across the board but I haven’t seen anything that has been out of touch.

We heard good things about their hot food and finally brought ourselves to pay them a visit. This is by far what we can find the closest authentic delight to BBQ pork we had in Hong Kong. Can’t go wrong with their crispy pork and we can’t wait to come back for it. Their menu can use some rework though to speed up the ordering time. The menu wall on the way in didn’t do a good job when I was trying to figure out a combo over three counter. It takes longer than need be especially when having more than two orders. Their Bobba tea comes with a fancy wide selection. Going prices so it’s quite a nice addition to the shopping expereicne.

Disappointed and Concerned: A Sad Experience at your shop . I don’t normally post reviews like this, but I feel compelled to share my recent experience that happened to me in your shop. During my visit, I observed several concerning hygiene practices, most notably, staff members handling meat items and other non meat items and then continuing to serve other customers without changing gloves. This is not a good habit as this cause more germs to transfer to another person and cause I’ll, you remember while covid pandemic how it was started , it was from a local market ,so whoever it managing the store it’s there responsibility to keep it safe to their customer service that’s why I raised serious questions about the cleanliness standards in place.

When I tried to voice my concerns politely, I was met with indifference. The staff showed little willingness to engage or acknowledge the issue, which made me feel that customer feedback was neither valued nor understood. It’s possible that language barriers played a role here, but that only underscores the need for better training and communication, especially when it comes to health and safety protocols like avoiding cross contamination. As a customer, I believe we all deserve to be treated with respect and assured that our well-being is taken seriously. Sadly, that was not the case during my visit. I genuinely hope the management team takes this feedback seriously and implements better hygiene practices and staff support going forward.I don’t understand the attitude and arrogance showed by one of the guy it’s really embarrassed and I felt ashamed , better speak with the customer politely rather than eating their heads. I think this guy will not understand what cleanliness and safety to follow in the store to prevent cross contamination.(at least tell your staff to change your gloves in between customers or else use hand sanitizer and don’t wear gloves.)

recently visited the new Asian food market in town, and I have to say, it was a delightful experience! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warm aroma of spices and fresh ingredients. They have a great selection of produce, and I was particularly impressed by the variety of items, from fresh herbs to a colorful array of vegetables.

The aisles are well-organized, making it easy to find what you’re looking for. They even have a decent selection of Asian snacks that I hadn’t seen elsewhere. I picked up some unique rice crackers and a few different types of noodles to try out.

One of the highlights for me was their bulk section, where you can scoop up different kinds of rice, spices, and beans. I love that they offer so many options at reasonable prices, which makes it easier to explore new recipes without breaking the bank.

The staff was friendly and helpful, ready to answer questions about the products. It felt inviting, which made my shopping experience even better. Overall, I'm excited to have this market nearby. It’s a great spot for anyone looking to add some Asian flavors to their cooking or for those just curious to try something new. I’ll definitely be...

Update: the store has improved so much since my last visit! It's in-store restaurant and bubble tea shop has best taste-to-cost ratios. I encourage everyone to try a new drink/flavor with each visit :)

Really good product diversity. Was able to find a lot of products I like as a non-chinese asian. They sell a lot of popular products seen in different Asian countries.

Aisles are very narrow, and checkout area could be more spacious. But it's okay because tiny building for many products. Layout is pretty good overall.

Product labels are sometimes inadequate. Like nutritional information+ingredients and product labels (sometimes the price label is shortened or not descriptive enough on its own), which kinda sucks cause I so want to try out new things but can't because I don't know how to use/cook with it. Could easily be solved with products already having stickers with the translation on top of the product words

Product diversity is already great so I would like to see even products from different Asian countries join the shelves.

Will be visiting often and very excited to see where this store goes! Owners seem to know what...
