My 92 year old mother and I had lunch at Milk and Honey Eatery. When we walked into the restaurant at high noon it was buzzing with patrons. The atmosphere was electric yet calming. Beautiful brick walls and eclectic wooden tables and chairs with plenty of walking space between them. Vaulted ceiling with semi open concept kitchen.
We were warmly greeted and served menus quickly. I looked around at what others were eating and I could tell by the smiles on peoples faces that they were enjoying their meals. The menu had plenty of selection for me as a vegetarian. We both had the soup of the day (creamed cauliflower and cheese) with an egg salad sandwich on a ciabatta bun for me and mom had a cheese scone. Delicious would be an understatement.
Soooo good. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you want a varied selection of soups and sandwiches, scones, and baked goods. A perfect lunch menu for one or a group of people. Excellent service…excellent food and excellent atmosphere. I will...
Read moreBeautiful spot! Busy! My sister and I were there for lunch last Friday and were lucky to get a spot… because we saw them have to turn people away because it was full. Definitely, one of Lindsay’s best restaurants. I am sure you can most days just walk in… but if you are set on it, make a reservation. The service was friendly, quick and perfect. The atmosphere… open, beautiful old Brick walls, the buzz is friendly, welcoming and alive! There was a sitting area with a cozy couch etc as well… seriously, the only thing they may be missing is a fireplace! The food…. Oh my, the food! We ordered panini’s and the homemade soup. I also had a latte and we were so impressed! And all the food coming out looked amazing and you could see people enjoying their meal and experience. One of my new favourite spots for sure. And it’s delicious, made fresh food. I can’t wait to go back to get a coffee and chill! And also to go for more meals with friends and family. New location on the Main Street...
Read more1st and last time. My friend and I tried to order the soup and scone for lunch, they were out of scones, asked the server what the replacement was for the scone, there wasn’t any. So we asked if we could have a slice of bread with our soup, after consulting with her colleagues the server comes back and offers us a croissant or bruschetta with our soup, we said no the bread will be fine, the server tells us that bread is not an option. Weird because I was looking at 3 loaves of bread behind the counter and they have multiple sandwiches on their menu. Needless to say, the overall experience was very poor. Don’t bother with this place. We just left, no need to stay where you can’t be accommodated with a slice of bread.
Thank you to the owner Olivia who reached out to me regarding my review. She provided 100% positive customer service. My friends and I will have to come back for a second try. ** these are my 4 stars for her attention to...
